I keep seeing one on twitter. It's a place in Altrincham market called Tendercow. They keep posting mouth watering pics like this.

Fuck me a decent vet could have that back on its feet in half an hour.

Best I've had in town is definitely Goucho.

Honourable mentions for restaurant bar & grill and the beef medallions in truffle sauce at San Carlo.

Worst steak.... easily Rosso.

I personally think that Wythenshawe park on a sunday morning is the best place to whip yer trollies off, and run about with yer knackers in the wind. If you can combine this with the bus stop mooning, then you've really cracked it. (forgive the pun)

Gauchos is the ONLY restaurant I have ever demanded they take OFF the automatically applied gratuity

Cafe Rouge do good steaks but I couldn't tell you the best place to go in town for a steak

Now in that there London, Black and Blue at Borough Market is the absolute dogs danglies . . . especially when you have a medium rare Ribeye topped off with Fois Gras - vegetarians run away, you will NEVER understand! ;-)

Evuna on Deansgate do a nice fillet. Per Tutti on Liverpool Road do a beautiful steaks. The upstairs restaurant in Manchestre 235 casino did a decent Chateaubriand.

The best I've ever had though was at the Italian restaurant off Cross Street near Albert Square (Leos?). It was owned by Chileans and when they ditched the Italian theme, they did an amazing steak. Shame it shut down.

Leonis on Bow Lane. Great Italian. The owner retired and it went to a Mediterranean place but was never as good afterwards.

That's the one mate. I think the Chileans kept it going as an Italian for a few years and in all honesty it wasn't great, certainly not as good as the previous ownership. When they moved to a South American menu it was a lot better, especially the steaks.

Both grill on the alley and grill on new york street are spot on as is gauchos also beef and pudding is spot on too, try the manchester meat 7lb of beef to share....
