Best place for a steak in Manchester?

Both Miller and carter in wilmslow and bourbon and black in didsbury (used to be casa tapas) do a wonderful chateaubriand. Highly recommended

Me, mum, dad and my kid brother used to go to the Berni Inn on Kingsway in Burnage (just, I think) once a month in the late 1970's.

Prawn cocktail; steak and chips; black forest gateaux. Quality :-)
