Just got mine, block 136 Cat 3. A lot of the Cat 3s are being swept up in third tier and the lower part of the first tier. FYI, Cat 2 in the first tier starts in row 16 if I remember rightly

Looks like there’s plenty of places to drink, either Richard Wagner square or the main Markt square. There’s an Augusteiner Keller on the main square too which if it’s anything like the one in Munich, it will be fun! We’re in the Premier Inn across from the main station

If you’re there for 3 nights then I’d definitely soak up the culture! Will follow the crowd on Tuesday afternoon and see what occurs. Safe to say there’ll be plenty of beer drank by all I’m sure

Fair enough. I was hoping 17.5k would be enough, given there’s no direct scheduled flights and only one charter flight, plus cost of living and all that. But whatever, is what it is. Can’t cancel the flight with Spike so if we miss out on tickets we’ll find a bar somewhere in Leipzig centre...

Thanks for the info. Fingers crossed 17k points and cup scheme will be enough. If not, see if there’s any spares whilst we’re over there. And failing that, it’ll be on in a pub somewhere no doubt!

With regards to obtaining tickets via the OSC, is it literally a case of signing up for a local OSC and asking for tickets? Os it there more to it than that? My local would be Mossley, Chadderton or Heyside, Crompton & Royton
