Fair enough i'll admit I did cringe somewhat when reading his posts! i have a feeling he came on here purely to wind people up and get a reaction... I think your mods were right to ban him... I certainly would have!

This is a great debate I have to admit. Sorry did you say your dad was bigger then mine? or is that going to be your next point? You think i'm wrong... great thanks for the input. Or actually if you were able to you could always list where you think i'm wrong and construct a valid argument...

I can't speak for all the Everton fans on here, just myself but I dont come on here because i'm worried, I come on here to chat to footy fans about the Lescott situation. If Arsenal were trying to buy Arteta i'd go on their site and check out their thoughts etc. I know that anything i've said...

Nah I dont think thats a particularly fair view to take. Its possible for someone to make some very good points, and then for me to disagree with something else they said. No-ones right 100% of the time after all

I dont rate him at all so will have to disagree with him on that point i'm afraid

Never a truer word spoken! However that would apply to most teams in europe not just us and other premier league teams.

God no! lol! Not a Moyes player at all, not good enough by a long stretch and not good value for money.

Fair enough at least your sticking to your guns now You know what I think I will, I support Everton but i love football and am alwaysn happy to chat to supporters of other teams. Redknapps foundations are appauling btw. 1st of all he buys players that either used to play for Spurs when they...

Thank you! A much more balanced argument. I agree with all of your points, including that City will pass us as some point. Although actually maybe not that were better run the Arsenal, just maybe more the expectations of us by the media are less so we can get away with spending less. i think...

Hold on a moment... my arguments are weak? Can I just quote you for a second... Didnt you say that we will "go backwards" this season... now your saying "From here on out, it's either a steady decline, or status quo". You need to be a bit more consistent with your points if you are to be...

City aren't looking to do that because they are in a highly privaleged position of having a multi multi billionaire owner, but just because thats how you now operate doesn't mean there aren't other ways for a club to operate. Infact its been shown many times that slow steady building of a young...

How many of the players you highlighted had long term injuries though?

Fair do's i'll admit your right there.

Ok fair enough I was looking at long term injuries to what I deemed "Key Players" rather the players who would be just deemed as 1st teamers. I would still argue that out of all the players list Fabregas was still the only long term absentee that I would class as a Key Player but it looks like...

No not really, Arsenal lost Fabregas for about 3-4 months, but we suffered much more with injuries to key players. Even with all their injured players back, I still think we'd have been very close to them if we'd had all our players too.

Jagielka is immense! Ask any Everton fan and they'd probably tell you we'd rather lose Lescott then Jags. I'll get shot down by the City fans for saying this as they dont see him week in week out, but the guy is just John Terry mark 2. I've never seen a player other then Terry just be in the...

Yes potential is one thing and fulfilling that is another, however he seems to have the temperament to be able to do this along with the natural ability. I disagree in part with what you say and agree in some parts too. It would be very difficult to consistently finish in the top 4 without...

Yes very much! He's a little dynamo. In all fairness he gives the ball away about 10% more then a really top player, but thats usually because he's trying to make something happen. He runs all day, he's got great skill, good vision, is tough as old boots for such a little guy, links up...
