Why do people keep insisting that 'Soriano and Txiki would never employ Mourinho'? They nearly employed him at Barcelona but decided Guardiola would appease the fans more. Txiki and Mourinho are very good friends and they would jump at the chance if he was available.

Declined Mourinho on the basis that they decided he wasn't right for Barcelona at that particular time. Txiki is and remains to this day a friend of Mourinho and has indeed stayed at his house on numerous occasions.

Was just about to say the same. These companies thought they were too big to fail. So they didn't attempt to move forward with the times. The very fact that Blockbuster didn't go in to digital streaming is bewildering.

Agree with all that apart from the bit about Clichy and Nasri. At 27 and 25 I think if they were going to be world-class they already would be. Clichy isn't and won't ever be a world-class player. Nasri is too inconsistent to ever be either.
