    Paul Pogba

Consistently missing matches when they’re starting to do poorly in a season. Doing multiple interviews with the media through himself or his agent openly discussing leaving whilst still at the club. Simply not the type of player I would want at city, and since Yaya not the type of player we...

    Paul Pogba

Won’t happen. He’s a complete anti-City signing. Been a waste of space and toxic player for United for years, constantly injured and a toxic personality at their club. He’s lazy and never looks up for a fight in tough matches. Sure he’s talented, but that is simply not enough for a team like...

Match Thread | Real Madrid vs Man City (04/05/22)

PSG and Chelsea did too. Real just have a charmed life in the CL, particularly this season.

    House Prices

My ideal goal is to move to Aus in around 3 years time. The house prices over there though do seem to have gone insane which will make it that much more difficult getting started out there. From what I’ve read renting isn’t much easier. Hopefully the higher salaries will make it a bit less painful.

Is that counting that cross into Edersons hands as a shot? I don’t recall one.

Have they actually had a single shot on or off target? Can’t remember one.

Exactly as you’d expect against Atletico. Always going to be a 180 minute frustrating slog. Just have to stick at it until the opening comes and keep focused against the counter.

    Erling Haaland

If there’s one thing I’m confident of it’s that Haaland won’t be at United. A team full of overpaid underperforming attackers and likely won’t even be in the CL next season. Haaland very much seems keen to break records and win trophies and he has his pick of any team, it will not be United.

Ferran Torres | Signs for Barcelona (see main forum)

Clearly he wants to be back in Spain. So be it. We never really saw enough of him to judge how well he will do in the future. So it’s hard to be too disappointed in seeing him go (Sane was definitely more painful to see leave). He’s joining a club with the exact same number of points as the...

    Penalty Taker

De Bruyne clearly doesn’t enjoy taking them even though he’s not bad. Gundogan is our best option from a mindset and consistency point of view.

    The Mrs - Blood Results

The blood tests are relatively non-specific and it could be something or nothing. It will just be a quick ultrasound scan, they’ll scan the whole abdomen (standard practice) including the liver. The vast majority won’t find anything of major concern. There almost certainly won’t be a biopsy at...

It hasn't upset me as much as I thought I would

The disappointment died off pretty quickly. One of the main reasons I was hoping for victory was for Pep, the players coming to the end of their time here and the owners. And the reality is I think both pep and the players underperformed so I feel less bad for them than I would had we got unlucky.

    Pep Guardiola - 2020/21 Performances

He’s the best manager for us to have at this club and I wouldn’t trade him for anyone. But certainly seems to have a mental block with regards to CL - time and again has diverted away from what works for us at the wrong moments. Deserves his bit of grief tonight, but will be back supporting...

Match Thread | Man City vs Chelsea Champs League Final (29/05/21)

If we had played our usual 11 and lost, then so be it. Its the feeling of missed opportunity with the wrong line up that is most annoying.

Probably because they’re all playing out of position. Bernardo and Foden are CM. Gundogan DM. De Bruyne striker.

Match Thread | Man City vs Chelsea Champs League Final (29/05/21)

It’s frustrating because it’s entirely predictable. Everyone said the same thing would happen when the line up was put out - and it’s happened. Now we likely have to take off a game changer to put on a defensive midfielder when we are chasing the game.

Kevin De Bruyne - 2016/17 performances

7 Chances created including an assist created against Arsenal, his most ever in a game for City. Stepping up in the big games this year, rags, barca, arsenal.

That was pretty bad from the young man.

Should've been red for me. Intent was to get the man not the ball. Looking the stronger team.

    Renato Sanches

Watched him against Bayern in the first leg & he played well enough - hard to judge much more than that as Bayern dominated the possession so heavily. Looks like he has the physicality & technique to become a very good player, but still a big gamble for someone of that age, still could go either...
