    Pep Guardiola - 2022/23

I completely agree with that. However, every man and his dog could see what the Forest game plan was. Ride their luck, stay in the game and go on the attack in the last 10 minutes. Our poor finishing allowed their game plan to work. Pep’s poor game management allowed their game plan to succeed.

    Pep Guardiola - 2022/23

I don’t think anyone is suggesting that we should have shut up shop early in the game. However, he should have reacted to the late Forest subs, he didn’t and we paid the price. Whilst I agree that most of our problems could be placed on poor finishing. It wasn’t the sole reason we failed to...

    The Title Race 2022/23

I just don’t see us being capable of going on a long winning run like in recent seasons. This team is too complacent to do it. That said, we’ve had some excellent results in the bigger games. We seem more mentally switched on in those fixtures. That could bold well for the CL.

    47 | Phil Foden - 2022/23

Thought Phil was brilliant in the first half, back to his best at times. Made a bad mistake at the start of the second half and faded afterwards. Encouraging performance though.

    9 | Erling Haaland - 2022/23 Performances

I don’t blame him at all for going down. The ref set the standard by giving defenders free kicks when Haaland touched them in a similar manner. However, his big mistake was thinking that City get reffed the same as other sides.

    Pep Guardiola - 2022/23

I don’t think anyone can argue that Pep got his tactics wrong today. We were excellent for the majority of the game and should have won by at least 3 goals. Where Pep does deserve to be questioned is for the lack of pragmatism in his management of the game. When you’ve missed sitter after...

Nottingham Forest (A) | Post Match Thread

This is why it makes Pep’s decision not to react to the late Forest subs even more infuriating. I get not changing it when the game is 0-0 and we’re pushing for a winner. But we had absolutely nothing to gain by not reacting to Wood coming on. Ake should have immediately been on the pitch...

Nottingham Forest (A) | Post Match Thread

We’re obviously still in the title race but I personally think we will finish third this season. If there was ever a week to sum up why we probably won’t win the league it is this one. Go away to the league leaders and turn them over and then drop points like today. The same underlying...

We’ve had enough chances to be 4/5 up today. It’s crucial we don’t concede here though.

Crystal clear that we are reffed differently to all other sides. Forest have been given two free kicks for identical incidents today.

Have you ever made a post about Grealish without comparing him to Phil?

Do last minute stuffy winners where you’re playing shit not count?

There was silly old me thinking the player had to touch the ball before being called offside.

    Aston Villa (H) - Post-Match Thread

Excellent in the first half and comfortable in the second half. Much better performance than recent weeks. Only worries are Eddie conceding with our first shot on target once again and Akanji being weak as piss in any contest with the attacker.

Zero point in us playing a keeper.

PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

To be honest, we must take our fair share of responsibility with the way things have turned out. Instead of calling out FFP for being bullshit from the get go and taking it to court, we pulled our pants down and took one for the team. All in the hope that we could then become one of the cartel...

    Spurs (A) | PL | Post-Match Thread

I know a lot of questions have been asked about Haaland and whether he’s made us worse. But IMO, Haaland is the difference between us being in the top 4 and being in a race for 10th with Liverpool. Both sides standards having massively regressed and it’s understandable based on the pst 5...

Not sure about that. We’ve had the most possession but done absolutely nothing with it. The usual Spurs game plan has done a number on us as per.
