We should have wrapped the game up by half time. They barely threatened us

I completely agree with that.

However, every man and his dog could see what the Forest game plan was. Ride their luck, stay in the game and go on the attack in the last 10 minutes.

Our poor finishing allowed their game plan to work. Pep’s poor game management allowed their game plan to succeed.

An earlier sub could have given Forest an early boost even if it was a defensive one

But I’m not talking about making a random sub for the sake of it.

I’m talking about making a reactionary defensive sub in response to Forest making some attacking changes. A change which won us the game against Arsenal a few days earlier.

Ake for De Bruyne with Bernie going to midfield would not have hindered our style of play at all. Especially when you consider the match Kev had.

A reactionary sub could easily have imploded in Pep's face. If our overall performance was bad (which for the most part it wasn't) a sub would have been made it would have made more sense. And if Cooper was a tactical genius he should have exploited the left side a lot sooner than he did and would more than likely have got the 3 instead of the luckiest 1 if that was the case.

Fuck me youre hard work.Have good afternoon.
Likewise. A sub would have not made much difference. Especially with Ake being our only player is really comfortable playing left back and we have an important and tough away tie vs RB Leipzig so need to rest him vs Forest. Bernardo for most part did a decent cover job including the game against Arsenal.

Second half KDB and Gundogan were about as ineffective as its possible to be. Grealish had ran out of steam .
Putting on Ake and Alvarez on 60 mins would have been positive not 87 mins.

Ake was being rested for Wednesday and with him being injured during last seasons title run in it is better that way than over playing him and risk injuring during the Forest game.
