How do we resolve the Brexit mess?

At least this isn't something we've lost through the Brexit process, as worker rights are defined in UK law. This is just a bar to judge a future government against.

    G P surgeries hiding appointments

Similar experience for me also. I've had virtual or F2F appointments, same day never an issue. E-prescriptions waiting at local chemist. I'm generally impressed. Looks like a postcode lottery.

overcooked dead animal tastes terrible. shocker.

    Just Stop Oil protests

I support the protesters. It's a crisis of unimaginable proportions and the change required will not be taken on by a short term thinking government. I also loathe the fact every time a protest happens, the press are falling over themselves to find a 'poor soul' who was just trying to get to...

How do we resolve the Brexit mess?

We could, but for all the reasons you've said, it's not worth doing. So let's just see if we can be as close to Europe as possible without joining, bin off the Tories and avoid the division of trying to undo the vote. It'll be a future generation that rejoins Europe.

How do we resolve the Brexit mess?

I'm amazed by these poll results.. there's no way a vote to re-join would pass. We can't just waltz back in...

    Shooting / Rioting in Paris

Intouchables is excellent, relevant to this but such a heart warming story. One of my favourites. The remake into English wasn't quite as good.

How do we resolve the Brexit mess?

I guess from what I see, conversations at work, with friends and family, there is no appetite around me. If pressed for a vote they might choose remain/rejoin, most would, but not feeling strongly about it that it's a current political issue. In terms of 'worse than expected'... some of the...

How do we resolve the Brexit mess?

There's no appetite to re-join in the country, it was a divisive time and i'm glad we're moving on. I'm just grateful the impact is not as bad as was initially predicted.

    Snooker

I watched the final (as I had a pre-tournament bet on Brecel and wanted to see how it rolled out). Betting aside, I thoroughly enjoyed it and watched all 4 sessions. This is the first snooker I've watched since being a kid. Excellent tactics, brilliant 147 from Selby yesterday. A really...

How do we resolve the Brexit mess?

This is key.. a big price. It's a tricky one though - As a descendant of an economic migrant myself I'm part of the picture. I benefitted hugely (and am immensely grateful for) my education in this country which set me up in life. But of course I want the same opportunities for my kids and so...

Good, calm and correct response from Kier once again. Suspend, say nothing else, let the enquiry look at it.

How do we resolve the Brexit mess?

I'm not sure I understand the to what I posted (or Brexit when it comes to libraries.. mine closed in 2015.. whilst in the EU). The point is, we have the option of raising tariffs on Lamb if you want to protect the sheep farmers. We didn't take that option, but we have the option. Control.

How do we resolve the Brexit mess?

I guess the ability to set own economic policy can sometimes be a benefit - https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-65292698

Suella Braverman - sacked as Home Secretary (p394)

I'd be grateful to be honest after living in a tent/slum in France. I was camping this week and it was close to zero at night, not a pleasant experience.

We are not playing well at the moment. Normally I'm angry that we're the better team but coming away with nothing. 2nd best today.
