    Norwich City (A) - Post-Match Thread

" He who laughs last.." The big grin on Mike Summerbee's face as City dismantled that lot told it's own story. Karma is a wonderful thing.

    Norwich City (A) - Post-Match Thread

" Buzzer" got the last laugh. He predicted that City would come back soon and smash them in their own back yard. He didn't have to wait long for the 1-6.

They spent a lot of money on players at the beginning of Ferguson's rein after not winning the league for the best part of three decades. Yet somehow they maintain it's " Earned not Bought " they broke one transfer record after another yet City are " ruining football ". The media pander to the...

I absolutely agree. Meanwhile the other half of the " history twins " has been kept in two cups and made up points in the league. The media have spoken about a " culture of cheating " yet they are very quick to defend it depending on the badge.

It's amazing how selective the " history twins" memories are. Something else they have in common along with their respective club badges.

I thought it was still in existence but " simulation " was conveniently ignored because it seems the favoured red teams benefit the most. Then I saw that a Villa player was booked for simulation against United. I think it was last season and rather than give a penalty for Villa when they were...

With VAR though, there should be no excuse. When the same decisions are still being made in favour of certain teams, it's little wonder there are accusations.

We saw that the season they " won" it. The handball on the halfway line to set up a goal against Wolves was described as brilliant skill. Yet later, when the goal was shown, this piece of brilliant skill was edited out and just the punt upfield left in. You would have thought the whole world...

The trophies they " win" and the extra revenue certainly helps towards FFP.

Brilliant! That reminds me of the joke about the passenger being asked about his passport in France. The customs person said it has always been necessary and the old man said last time I was here ( during the war) I couldn't find a French man to show it to.

I don't think it's a coincidence. After thirty years, it was uncanny how the demise of one coincided with the return of the other.

It's interesting that they should score straight after the refusal to issue a red card, after the penalty being turned down previously. It's almost as if Cardiff players lost heart with those decisions thinking they weren't going to be allowed to compete and the result had already been decided...

Another myth to go along with " the table doesn't lie " and " Earned not Bought " they already made up six points with decisions against City in the Southampton game, for them against Villa and Crystal Palace , then similar decisions in the Leicester game in the cup, again with the following...

That, I think was a typical " Platoon" dive. Then the Villa had a penalty turned down. That gave them another three points, along with the three points given when they played Crystal Palace. Their" history " just like their red neighbours is made up of a succession of similarly dubious decisions.

These periods of domination were made possible by funding, something supporters of certain teams would prefer to forget when they talk about " history ".
