    Tyrese Campbell

Any youth team player refusing to sign professional terms and choosing to leave City based on the fact that a soon to be ex-first team manager wasn't great at giving academy graduates a chance is a fucking moron. Pellegrini has had ZERO impact on Campbell's career thus far. He's nowhere near the...

    Next seasons home shirt (allegedly)

At the end of the day it's just a football shirt so I can't get too emotional about it. Having said that it is fucking atrocious. This was always going to happen when we were moved from Umbro, where we were a big fish in a relatively small pond, to Nike, where we're just another club. This new...

    Roy Hodgson

England, rightly or wrongly, have decided that they want to go down the route of employing an Englishman as the national team manager. In making that decision they have limited the number of potential candidates for the role. Roy Hodgson is far from being a great manager, one with tactical nouse...

    Mikel Arteta

So I assume this is purely a back office appointment and Arteta will not be part of the playing staff?

    Violence at Euro 2016

Transtion: - I don't much like the English and I'm still feeling bitter about getting deservedly beaten by them on Thursday.

    Toni Kroos

I think what those stats indicate are that Gundogan is a very good player, but not quite on the same level as Kroos, Modric or Pogba. That's to be expected, we just bought Gundogan for slightly less than £20m, you'd be paying something between £50m and £70m for the other 3 no doubt.

City youth policy would be rocked by Brexit

This would seriously hamstring English sides when compared to their European counterparts. City would be restricted in who they could attract to their academy whereas the likes of Barca, Real etc can still bring in anyone from around Europe. With the squad restrictions as they currently are we'd...

    Toni Kroos

I think the general concern regarding Kroos seems to be one of his athleticism. He's not the quickest and he doesn't cover huge amounts of ground when doing his defensive duties. Given the pace at which Premier League football is played he may at times struggle in that regard.

Blatter claims UEFA draws were rigged

The Bluemoon forum is for threads which are DIRECTLY related to City not for those that tangentially associated.

    Austria vs Hungary - Euro 2016 - 14/06/16

For what it's worth (very little no doubt) I went for a 3-1 Austrian win in my pre-tournament predictions. My correct score predictions aren't doing too brilliantly, however I'm 7 from 10 on correct results so an Austrian win is looking favourite!

Blatter claims UEFA draws were rigged

So HE was the one who read it!

Blatter claims UEFA draws were rigged

So Blatter witnessed a UEFA draw being conducted in an underhand and entirely corrupt manner, but decided it was best at the time to do absolutely nothing and just let it happen? And he's still claiming to be entirely above board and not corrupt in any sense himself? How exactly does that work...

    Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang

So, we have no idea whether he's going to join, but you do know the figure being quoted isn't true...... hmmm

Kosovo - Now officially recognised by UEFA

Recognised by UEFA but not by FIFA it would seem, so able to compete in qualifying for the 2020 European Championships but unable to participate in World Cup qualifiers. Edit: I see they've now been recognised by FIFA too. No decision made as to how they, and Gibraltar (who CAS have forced FIFA...

    Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang

I'd take a poor footballer who could deliver 80 goals in 140 appearances like Aubameyang has done for Dortmund over the last 3 seasons. I'd also argue that in order to score 39 times in 46 games last season you need to have much more to your game than just "finishing".

    Enes Unal

I suspect work permit issues would make that impossible.

    Manu Garcia

Byrne is the interesting one, a little under the radar prior to last season, but he took the Eredivisie by storm in a really poor Cambuur side and is certainly worth Pep running the rule over before deciding if he needs more seasoning out on loan or is ready to be introduced to the first team.

    Seko Fofana

To be honest we could do with someone who decides to take a shot on rather than yet another fucking pass!

    Brandon Barker

Lets not read too much into Khaldoon name dropping Barker, he name dropped Jack Rodwell a couple of years back remember!

    Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang

It would seem everyone else was aware of that except me! I just assumed they'd qualify given they won it the time before last.
