Pellegrini.

As I predicted a long time ago.

Any youth team player refusing to sign professional terms and choosing to leave City based on the fact that a soon to be ex-first team manager wasn't great at giving academy graduates a chance is a fucking moron. Pellegrini has had ZERO impact on Campbell's career thus far. He's nowhere near the first team, and when he does get near to it Pellegrini will be long gone. It's a blinkered, idiotic position to take for these players. I mean Guardiola is a totally different prospect, one who loves getting the younger players involved. If Campbell is too dumb to see this then maybe it's best he move on, if he doesn't think he'll be able to convince Guardiola he's good enough then maybe a team where the expectations aren't as high would suit him.

I think you are complety & utterly wrong re Pellegrini. I think he has totally undermined the whole system.

I am surprised if a player leaves without first at least meeting Guardiola though.

I don't think it's moronic just over pessimistic.

Wow, Pep is about to join us and a kid wants to leave. Not interested in learning from the best coach in the world, this is something I can't get my head around.

Nail on the head.
