The guys running the project want to do it straight away so that they don't lose what they've learnt doing the south stand. The club are deciding whether to go ahead or wait and see how ticket sales go before making a decision.

Its for the big screens. The roof in the corners only has a 25 year life in order to remove to be able to join the third tiers. There is a walkway behind but that is for maintenance. Couple of pics here

Yes, I asked the Man City project manager. He said no decision had been made as yet on when to extend the north stand. There are only 2,000 people left on the waiting list. This is a mix of those who currently can't afford to pay the extra and those who only want a £299 season ticket.

Screens will go in eventually but seeing how ticket sales go as to whether to do the north stand expansion straight away. If do then current screens will be relocated.

The roof in the corners connecting the east and CB stands are a temporary (25 year year life span) construction. Able to be removed if/when the club want to extend the stands to fill in the corners making it a complete bowl. The head guy from Laing O'Rourke said this when on the tour.
