    Liz Truss

Whatever anyones political persuasion we should all hold the same ambition and vision which is for this country and all its citizens to have the opportunity to prosper. Now that might sound ideological but if you can’t start with an ambition what hope is there. What I see now is a divided...

How many times you been Anfield and not seen us win?

Too many to remember but know I’ve never seen us win. Missed out on a ticket for tomorrow. Ironically we will win when I’m not there fingers crossed. Agree with comments about the police and stewards, it’s almost like they want us to get battered and/or arrested.

37 Away Games Without A Win Run Ends…

Was it 4 2 to us in that Bradford game. Remember as a teenager listening to Brian Clarke reporting from Valley Parade and couldn’t believe we had won. They were top and unbeaten from memory.

    Happy 5-1 day

I remember being in a chippy in Hazel Grove and the speculation was that Bryan Robson was out injured, I turned to my mates and said “we will win today”. Not sure I believed it but standing on the Kippax that day as an 18 year old was an amazing experience.

Like others have said on twitter it came up with an error on the amount exceeded the allocation, I had it in my basket within 15 seconds, I appreciate no system is perfect

    18-25 Away Ticket Allocation

Just tried to get my lad a ticket and was logged on at 9am, selected a ticket and took payment then after a couple of mins refunded the payment so obviously unsuccessful this time. Out of interest how many generally are available and is it just pot luck and you have to keep trying. He’s gutted...

Real Madrid (A) Post Match Thread

Complete over reaction to my point of view. I’m not stabbing him in the back but if you think his performance tonight was good enough then so be it.

Real Madrid (A) Post Match Thread

He did but the first goal changes the game and was 100% there to be claimed. Brave keeping is what we need.

Real Madrid (A) Post Match Thread

I know he didn’t suit Peps style of play but I was at the Nou Camp when Joe saved us losing by a cricket score. That is what we need coupled with being brilliant with the ball. Ederson is always liable to let us down.

Real Madrid (A) Post Match Thread

Clearly it’s not all on Ederson but his ability to save us a game isn’t at the level needed.

Real Madrid (A) Post Match Thread

My lad plays in the position and I always say be brave, take a kick to the face, get the foul and save a goal. Its what your supposed to do. Ederson is too slow at claiming that ball.

Real Madrid (A) Post Match Thread

Ederson needs to brave for the first goal, any of the top keepers dive into the thick of that, claim the ball or get a foul. He might be world class with his feet but average at every other part of the game.

    Jimmy Carr

The audience with when Freddie Starr got Mr Motivator riding the bike whilst singing Vincent was comedy gold in my opinion, one of the very few things I laughed at from FS but that was genius. Best ever I saw on stage was Doddy, never ever will be replaced, absolutely fantastic and for the most...

    Coronavirus (2021) thread

No nothing of the sort. Just think it can affect people in different ways. What is interesting is after 4 days I tested negative with a LFT which I accept isn’t 100% but the last 3 days have all been negative. This would indicate the infectiousness is before the symptoms have even presented...

    Coronavirus (2021) thread

I’m on day 8 of my isolation and from running a 1hr 40min half marathon 3 weeks ago to not being able to get out of bed is truly shocking. The fatigue has been the worst part for me, slowly but surely I am starting to come round but the lack of taste and smell is horrendous. Fingers crossed it...

    Running thread

That’s brilliant mate, I’ve been struck down with COVID so haven’t run now for a week and in isolation until the back end of the week, that’s why I’ve not been on Strava. Gutted!
