ZOE APP DATA
TODAY
UNFORTUNATELY THE TREND FROM YESTERDAY WAS MIRRORED IN THE REAL CASES SO NOT LOOKING LIKE A ZOE ERROR AND TODAY IT CONTINUES AS IT WAS LOOKING LIKE IT MIGHT.
GREATER MANCHESTER IS GOING UP AND THE PROBLEM NOW IS WITHOUT A DOUBT CURRENTLY HERE AS MOST OF THE REST OF THE NORTH WEST WHICH WAS THE PROBLEM UNTIL LAST WEEK IS NOW STEADILY FALLING.
LOOKS AS IF THE STOCKPORT PROBLEM THAT THE ENTIRE MEDIA HAS MISSED AND I HAVE BEEN ASKING WHY HAS - AS ALMOST INEVITABLE - STARTED TO SPREAD ACROSS GM.
PROBABLY SCHOOL RELATED EVERYWHERE. BUT WE COULD DO WITH BEING SURE WHAT IS GOING ON AND SOMEONE AT LEAST BEING ON THE BALL OUT THERE.
THIS HAS BEEN GOING ON FOR TWO WEEKS NOW WITH NOT EVEN LOCAL MEDIA ATTENTION. THOUGH THEY DID NOTICE AND REPORT ON THE LANCASTER AND LAKE DISTRICT OUTBREAK LAST WEEK - WHICH STAYS THE HIGHEST IN NW FOR NOW BUT IS FALLING LIKE MERSEYSIDE AND THE WEST HAS BEEN ALL WEEK AND THE WAY GM IS HEADED MAY NOT BE THE BIGGEST WITHIN DAYS,
GREATER MANCHESTER:-
Rochdale is back on top but also UP big on 18, 000 FROM 15, 779
Wigan falls to second - UP on 17, 480 FROM 16, 688 - these two are at the highest GM numbers in over 2 weeks. Showing the spread is occurring.
Stockport back to third and UP again by over 1000 after being fairly flat in past week when it fell below 200 cases a day. 300 cases in Stockport may be a real possibility any day now. On 14, 503 FROM 13, 243 .
Tameside is up into fourth also UP - on 13, 768 FROM 13, 328 which looks right as it is just outperforming Stockport in the real data right now.
Trafford stays fifth and also UP for an entire week now as the rises spread on 12, 522 FROM 10, 933
Oldham moves up into the Upper watch zone too in sixth after a fifth consecutive rise also UP on 11, 497 FROM 9658
Bury edges DOWN slightly in seventh on 10, 861 FROM 10, 884.
Manchester is in eighth and after days of near misses is UP into the 10 K higher watch zone on 10, 142 FROM 9347
NOW ONLY TWO BOROUGHS LEFT IN THE LOWER WATCH ZONE (IT WAS 8 A FEW DAYS AGO)
Bolton edges UP too in ninth rising wevery day for a week and closing in on becoming the next last to go above 10K sadly - UP on 8564 FROM 7272
HOWEVER, STILL EASILY BEST IN GM AFTER WEEKS OF DAILY FALLS AND THE ONLY ONE NOT SHOWING ANY HINT OF GOING NEAR 10K IS :-
Salford - and UP slightly on 3657 FROM 3498 - the last 16 numbers in Salford have ALL been in the 3000s - a low level very hard to explain given the way the rest of GM has been posting.
IF SALFORD STARTS RISING GM IS IN TROUBLE!
REST OF NORTH WEST
St Helens is DOWN again and into the lowest watch zone on 9991 FROM 10, 537 - This was a HUGE drver of the NW numbers and way up in the 30Ks but has fallen steadily over past 10 days - halving numbers in a week - as GM has risen
AS HAVE MOST OF THE OTHERS ON THE WESTERN SIDE OF THE NORTH WEST
Liverpool is DOWN too after days of falls and no longer above all of GM on 11, 017 FROM 12, 615 - it was above ALL of GM a week ago and in the 20Ks but is now below 7 of the 10 GM borough and like St Helens half where it was.
Sefton - though more slowly - going DOWN too on 12, 678 FROM 12, 796
Warrington also DOWN on 10, 351 FROM 10 , 950
THESE FALLS HAVE BEEN VERY CONSISTENT ACROSS THIS PART OF THE REGION JUST AS GM HAS STARTED TO MOVE UP TO JOIN STOCKPORT.
THIS IT SEEMS IS THE REASON WHY GM NUMBERS V NORTH WEST HAVE NOT BEEN SO GOOD IN PAST FEW DAYS.
THE NEW NORTH WEST HOT SPOT:- RIBBLE VALLEY IS ALSO HAPPILY NOW FALLING
DOWN ON 33, 637 FROM 35, 543 AND 37K THREE DAYS AGO
HOWEVER - FURTHER NORTH IN THE REGION IS ALSO STILL A PROBLEM - THOUGH THAT TOO IS NOW FALLING
LAKE DISTRICT NORTH ON 30, 253 FROM 31, 088 - WITH LANCASTER AND MORECAMBE DOWN ON 19, 263
AS FOR THE OTHER AREA OF CONCERN (sorry Andyhinch):-
Cheshire East is STILL well above Stockport as it has been for a week or two now after hardly ever achieving that in the past but now only Rochdale in GM is above it - and only just by 159.
UP to 17, 841 FROM 17, 142 - been consistently over Stockport for two weeks now. And Stockport is not sonewhere you want to be above these days.
BUT still Chester and Cheshire West is higher - though fallen a little over past days like other western parts of the NW - DOWN on 18, 329 FROM 18, 919 AND 19, 376
So now the two parts of Cheshire are closer again and Cheshire East - still rising - could overtake its western neighbour at this rate.
Cheshire is now the main problem in the south of the NW region well above where the Merseyside and surrounding boroughs were for some weeks.
