So much for Henry Winter's change of heart. Just tuned in to Talkshite to enjoy the salty tears and who pops up but Henry Winter to discuss whether we are the greatest side of all time. 115 mentioned in the first sentence and every sentence after that. Dick.

    Would you bet against City?

No. It's like life insurance. You don't want to die but, if you do, someone might as well benefit.

PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

If this is true, it's interesting that, whilst he isn't welcome at City, he's very welcome at arsenal.

    Media Discussion - 2023/24

When people ask how blues can keep reading or listening to all the vitriol in the media, I can only answer for me, but I love it. Sure, it bothered me at first, but bit by bit, as City have become more successful both on and off the field, regardless, I've come to enjoy it. The overtly...

PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

I think there's some truth in that but he doesn't examine the real reason why we don't inspire the hatred of other fans. I think the same could be said of Chelsea, and the reason is obvious; The fans of united, liverpool and the Arse are insufferable cunts that no one can stand.

VAR Discussion Thread - 2023/24 | PL clubs to vote on whether to scrap VAR (pg413)

Crap though it is, at least VAR adds a degree of accountability to offside decisions. The speed with which some linesmen raise their flags, even when they are not supposed to, worries me.

Just after Son's miss, the missus came into the tv room, sniffed the air and put the dog outside, poor bugger.

Yes, my mate fished Rutland last week and said it was unbelievably clear. He was suggesting tiger mussels. Same thing has happened in Ireland, absolutely fucked the fishing there. The water used to be peaty coloured, now gin clear. As regards the fishing, yes the successful anglers were...

How did you go on ? On a whim, my mate and I went and fished Blithfield Reservoir in Staffordshire yesterday which was hard, especially without seats, but fun. Managed a couple on dry fly.

Think he was ironically suggesting that the PL will turn a blind eye.

    Media Discussion - 2023/24

I'm always intrigued by journalistic claims about the nature of our, or any other, fan base. What are their research parameters, their methodology, their sample size, in fact, any empirical evidence at all that lends credibility to their assertions. If a journalist wants to make claims like...

    Anyone else feeling pretty confident?

This will be the usual hard game at Spurs. We take our chances, we'll win but if we give Son the freedom he usually has, we could be in for a tough evening.
