Just asking. It's not like betting against City and actually wanting to win the money, is it?

I am a terrible gambler, i never win, i bet against city in the hope it gives us a better chance of winning. I also bet on our rivals hoping to lose my money which i am more than happy to do. The life insurance comparison is good.

in a game like today I'd recommend a bet on west ham with bet365, when they're 2 up you'll get paid and then we'll come back and win 3-2, win win
Arsenal are 9-1 to win the title with Paddy Power. Strangely generous odds based on two sets of games on the last day of the season.

I've not had a bet for a couple of years. But when we went to Villa in December and were playing crap, and they'd won 8 or 9 consecutive home games, I went out of my way to go to the bookies and back Villa at 3/1. Paid for Christmas

Not had a bet since but that was buying money

Yep - do this now and again. On arse to win the title @ 9/1

And now on City not to lift a trophy this season @ 59/1

Certainly not wanting a payout…… but will pay for drowning my sorrows if the worst happens
