Yaya Toure (contract at Olympiakos terminated P18)

Could be perfect timing just as we're running out of midfield players. Got enough time to get himself in shape for Liverpool at home

    Jesus Navas

Very effective in his first season and had no problem finding players with his crosses when we played quick and expansive football. Last two Pellegrini seasons it was a lot of slow and boring buildup with no left side whatsoever most of the time, Navas a last resort when he had no space to work...

Bernard a good player, reminds me of Navas

Warnock should get manager of the season if he keeps this team up.

    Better than Lukaku's effort.

How many times do you think we will lose in the league this season?

For me the Spurs away game was the toughest we'll face all season in the league. With the state of the pitch and Pochettino picking the most physical team he could possibly field to pressure us, we showed real grit to win that one. That said I think we'll lose one to the top sides and another...

    Leroy Sane - 2018/2019 performances

Liked that he won a couple well directed headers and brought down some longer passes under pressure, always thought this was something he could improve on as he's tall for a winger.

    West Ham (a) pre-match thread

Not really a Gundogan hater, he's a good player. But I've never liked him filling in for the two attacking mid positions. Against the deep blocks he doesn't move into positions to receive it quickly enough and loves a backpass. He doesn't twist and turn to wrong foot players closing him down and...

    West Ham (a) pre-match thread

_________Ederson Walker Stones Laporte Delph ______Fernandinho ____Mahrez_____ Silva Sterling___ Aguero____Sane But I expect it'll be the boring option of Gundogan in the middle. Pellegrini has got WHam going a bit since the dodgy early games but we seem to enjoy playing in this stadium. 3-1

    Manchester United (h) pre-match thread

If Pogba is really out we should win comfortably. It'll be extremely one dimensional midfield and aimless long balls from the back.

    Manchester United (h) pre-match thread

I think that's it but with Lingard in for Mata. Mendy would run off Mata at will.

    Manchester United (h) pre-match thread

I think their best bet would be Pogba-Herrera-Fellaini. Herrera has had a couple of good games against us before and has the agility to get close and disrupt our attacking mids. Fellaini has caused us problems in the past and obviously Pogba will play. Hope they start Matic though, been woeful...

    Manchester United (h) pre-match thread

Maybe it's too defensive but I think we need a more measured approach to the previous games vs them under Pep. In both league away derbies and last season's at Etihad we blitzed them in the first half but Guardiola decided to sit off them and try for counters in the second. Didn't work at all...

    Manchester United (h) pre-match thread

_______________Ederson _____Walker______Stones________Laporte Danilo____________Delph______________Mendy ________Fernandinho________Silva _________Jesus___________Sterling As erratic as he is Pogba is their only real link between defence and attack so Fernandinho pushed forward to hound him...

    United thread 2018/19

You're probably right that Ferguson didn't care but I think it would make Mourinho a bit of a hypocrite if he set out to destroy teams by multiple goals after he chastised Conte for getting Chelsea fired up to bury his United side 4-0 when they were having an off day defensively. Possibly in the...

    United thread 2018/19

To be fair I think United just abide by what they came out with after the the 6-1 and when Chelsea beat them 4-0, once you're 2-0 or 3-1 in the lead the game is over and there's really no need to go and score another 3 to embarrass an already beaten side. It has to do with respect.

Spiegel: Leaked European Super League information

So a team could finish third in this league and still be relegated or am I misunderstanding something, seems crazy but if there ever is a super league we'll definitely want to be on that wagon unfortunately.

    Phil Foden - 2018/19 Performances

Looks much stronger in his lower body than the same stage of last season, a real spring in his step and ability to bounce away from challenges. His deliberate touch around the player closing him down from behind (Anguissa?) best moment.
