To be fair I think United just abide by what they came out with after the the 6-1 and when Chelsea beat them 4-0, once you're 2-0 or 3-1 in the lead the game is over and there's really no need to go and score another 3 to embarrass an already beaten side. It has to do with respect.

I don’t think it has anything at all do do with respect.

The eye-gouging twat is a football coward, and is more interested in keeping what he has, rather than going for the jugular to improve the rags' goal difference.

His negative, defensive substitutions, after the scummy bastards have taken the lead bear witness to that.

Ferguson & Wenger were supposed to ‘respect’ each other. Yet United tried their hardest to embarrass Arsenal and did 8-2. Arsenal were decimated by injury and down to 10 men.

Never ever suggest United or anyone concerned with them have any respect.

You're probably right that Ferguson didn't care but I think it would make Mourinho a bit of a hypocrite if he set out to destroy teams by multiple goals after he chastised Conte for getting Chelsea fired up to bury his United side 4-0 when they were having an off day defensively. Possibly in the past he would have enjoyed rubbing teams' noses in a big scoreline but he seems to have mellowed out and just wants a professional single goal win.
