But we have hardly any players "at a proper level" at the moment so we need to review the system we play.

It would make sense for the steward involved to be in a different part of the ground.

We've spent over 80% of our history in the top division so could never be described as a "standard second division team".

If the rot continues what happens ?

The problem with all the people shouting about "entitlement" is they are taking every shred of disappointment as someone being "entitled". This is complete bollocks. There are plenty of fans on this forum who are disappointed, pissed off and bloody angry about how things have turned to rat-shit...

If the rot continues what happens ?

As supporters all we can do is turn up and encourage the lads. Those who don't attend contribute nothing anyway. Moaning about recent form on a forum won't affect the club or players, neither will going on about 4 in a row, the 2023 treble or the domestic treble in 2019.

If the rot continues what happens ?

Has anybody actually said they will give up on City (or any other struggling team) and go and support someone else due to our recent performances? A few have mentioned watching their local non-league sides as they've been priced out, but I don't recall anyone saying they would change due to results.

If the rot continues what happens ?

What I read into that is that you think either those expressing concerns about poor results will stop attending, and there is bugger all evidence to support that, or you believe occasional fans and tourists will stop attending. If we're still in the PL we will have tourists, so we only have to...

We'd need a December transfer window for that to make any difference. Unless we can put in advance orders for January. Even then EVRI, DPD or some other useless bunch would deliver them to the wrong clubs.

Did it have to be a cave in though? Couldn't we just have had a slow slide into third or fourth?

But it's still shit. Yes it's our shit, and yes we won't turn our backs on them, even if for some that just means turning on the telly, but it's still shit. It's not shit players as we've had in the past, and it's not a shit manager as we've had in the past, it's just overall shit performances...

Unless you shelled out for a ticket and transport to watch that shit show against our local rivals at Wembley.

Bollocks. Are you saying the winners shouldn't qualify for the following season?

If the players knew then someone in the media would know and the rest of us would also know. The potential result and punishment might be playing on some minds, but I can't see how the actual result can be known.

They don't. But some are injured, some are out of position, some are out of form, and some are too bloody old to play 90 minutes twice a week. It's bad planning and the refusal to accept that there are too many games, domestically and internationally, to work with a small, injury-prone squad...

it certainly looks like that, but who could get a good game from from Gundo in his current state, which coach could keep a team of perma-crocs fit or stop brain farts from so many of our current squad. A new coach might think up tactics more suitable to the players available, but there is no...

We're currently 6th having played a game more than the top four. Have you seen anything this season to suggest we can average more points per game than the current top four?

I suppose we can't play more youngsters as they might go on a losing run.

The good news is that we won't need anything like 40 points to stay up this season.
