Is it too early for gifs (tempting fate etc)?

    Media Thread - 2021/22

Been watching the football show on SSN for the past half an hour. So far, Arsenal, Chelsea and even Everton discussed to death. Was there another game last night?

Welcome Julian Alvarez | Signing confirmed on a five-and-a-half year deal

Got a good feeling about Alvarez. Maybe whilst everyone is understandably preoccupied with Haaland, we may have quietly acquired a ‘good-un’? His all round game looks a great fit for us, assuming he can adapt to England.

    Pre match light/laser shows

Not sure why some people are complaining about the light show. I think they’re pretty good. My only downer is the occasional juxtaposition of the light show and a less than enthusiastic home crowd on a champions league night. I guess lighter nights will naturally limit the impact of these shows...

Match Thread | Peterborough vs Man City (01/03/22)

Not brilliant but they put everyone behind the ball. Hard to keep it slick on that pitch and Mahrez looks like he’s been running through a turnip field. The pitch looks flatter kicking the other way so that will help a bit. ‘Still be surprised if we score any fewer than 3 in the second half and...

    #7 | Raheem Sterling - 2021/22 Performances

‘Love orthodox wingers (FOC, I guess) and he looked like a top one today. Leave him on the right please, Pep.

    #47 | Phil Foden - 2021/22 Performances

Couldn’t have tried any harder today. Just didn’t quite click with some of his passing and shooting. His pressing was something to behold though. For me, still a comfortable 7/10.

Best game for a long time. ‘Looking confident again and never stopped working.

Petition: Rename the North Stand to honour club legend Aguero!

Whilst there have been other greats, he provided the most iconic moment in the club’s history in front of that stand. He was deprived of the send off his stature at the club warranted and his premature retirement offers the perfect opportunity to honour him.

    Night & Day Cafe

20+ years ago the PA in there was loud. I remember the owner at the time (Jan?) being proud it was the loudest one in the area. It’s was a great sound though, obviously depending who was playing through it.

No ‘Kickback’ for a few weeks now. I think the Noel episode was the last. Come on Ned, we’re missing it…

    It's Quiet Thread 15 - Txiki Blinders

Thought his performances have been at least par with a few glimpses of something special. I suspect even established premier league players take time to absorb and consolidate what Pep teaches. His head must be mashed with the pace of our passing game, the positional stuff and the pressing...

    Erling Haaland

I am old enough to remember Mr Welsby, loves himself and never has a good word to say about City. That said, the account looks legit, just fake in the sense that he is still ‘full of it’.

    Harry Kane

But didn’t he play golf with Kane yesterday? I agree he usually talks it off his arse though.

    New striker?

I think he’s injured and not expected back before Christmas.
