Looking at it, we've just gone and took Villa's captain and arguably best player off them, for £12million. Good business from Hughes, fair play. Hope we've got a couple more in the bag.

To be honest, they shouldn't think of us as inferior. We're about the same size club as them, whatever that means. Then we have the fact we have bigger ambitions than them, and the means to acheive them very quickly. Doesn't that sound more appealing than hoping to cling on to top 4/5, and...

It's going to take some getting used to then. shame, i like Villa.

I'm pretty shocked at the animosity being projected by them to be honest. I thought us and Villa were similar clubs and similar fans, but they seem to hate us more than ever.
