    9 | Erling Haaland - 2022/23 Performances

Put a bet on him scoring 40 Premier League goals that wins me 5k if it happens. If he plays 35 league games he does it IMO. He's different.

    HolisticWum!

    82 | Rico Lewis - 2022/23 Performances

I would agree with this. A very smart, tactically aware, intelligent footballer. Good pace, if not lighting quick. Obviously absolutely loads of developing to do, but nights like the one he's just had are how you learn...

The TalkSport effect. Perspective and measured takes are boring now apparently. Vitriol or immense praise. Nothing in between.

    The Title Race 2022/23

Tbh I think City could win it relatively comfortably. I can't see Spurs or Arsenal reaching 90+ points. Liverpool may struggle too, and we know City can and likely will.

Reckon there's a chance we go into the market in January ya know

    47 | Phil Foden - 2022/23

I absolutely agree! I think people are being intensely over the top over a borderline 'mistake'. I'm not actually trying to argue im right, just that it isn't as black and white as people make it out and I can see why Foden perhaps thought the pass wasnt on.

    47 | Phil Foden - 2022/23

Sure, though I posted this image a few pages back which is a lot closer to the ball being released, where the defender shows (IMO) that he could have gotten his foot to it if Foden had to wrap his boot around and pull it back, which is a slower action cos it requires a softer touch. Defender...

    47 | Phil Foden - 2022/23

I'm not sure Pep's views, 50 yards away, from a touchline angle, are anything other than frustration that we wasted an opportunity. I'm sure it doesn't mean that Foden got it absolutely wrong. Maybe he did, but even Pep would be the first to admit that he'd need to watch something back before...

    47 | Phil Foden - 2022/23

Ha! Amazing. Mate, you've just said i'm over inflating my own view when you literally just made it out that you speak for the majority. Come on. You're still at with the 'we' stuff too! Can you let me know who this 'we' is? You disagree, sure, but you literally do not speak for blues. Nor do I...

    47 | Phil Foden - 2022/23

Ah I had no idea that you spoke for the majority! Good to know. Even then the majority have been fed one narrative and will happily parrot what they hear a commentator or a pundit says as fact without questioning it. As a city fan you should know that.

    47 | Phil Foden - 2022/23

The backlift lasts about half a second. I just don't agree that a pass would be any less easier to read as there are only two outcomes here, a pass or a shot. Both easy to read. The pass requires him to wrap his foot around it. Equally as readable. I get the Bournemouth one but I think people...

    47 | Phil Foden - 2022/23

Pep's remonstrations from 50 yards away mean absolutely nowt. He can't see every possible angle at every possible second. he's human like the rest of us. Last week he clearly hooked him for not making it, yet this week didn't. I'm pretty certain they would have discussed it at half time and he'd...

    47 | Phil Foden - 2022/23

Except that isn't the frame where the ball leaves his foot. Foden's walloped that, so imagine that backwards, slower and towards Haaland. It absolutely is likely to get cut out. Not sure why so many are refusing to see this...

Newcastle United (A) | Post Match thread

Thankfully we're not in a league race with those City sides. Ha! Do we have enough to win the league? Defo, I agree, and I think that's all that matters really. We are defo one or two players short depth wise, but that point aside, in terms of quality of the players we currently have I think it...

    8 | Ilkay Gundogan - 2022/23

this is literally true I reckon... i love Yaya, and he's absolutely one of our most talented players ever, but i swear most blues have their blue-tinged specs on and think Yaya was like that 13/14 season for us all of the time. He only really did that once IMO. One insane season, two excellent...

Not that I know of. Think he's got this one niggly injury that won't clear.

Sergio Gomez | Joins City on a four year deal

It'll be his age mate. He'll be a follower as opposed to a fan. Silva winning the league and the Aguero moment when he was like 10 years old, and he's chosen 21 too. Reckon its true.

Sergio Gomez | Joins City on a four year deal

Think they accidentally uploaded the video on the app and some spotted it quickly. 21 appears to be his number. Lovely.

    47 | Phil Foden - 2022/23

Tbh that last line in the second tweet reads like he was subbed cos he didn't pass ha. Not arsed for what its worth, but it does read that way. 'but he is young and sometimes has to understand what to do...' Yeah, seems like an obvious reference.
