Might be wrong but I think it's coming up to ten years ago that he came to the Etihad with Dortmund and dominated the midfield. One of the best performances I've seen by a midfielder at our ground.

I had concerns at one point that it wasn't going to work out for him as well as it should have and he didn't quite fit but his quality has never been in doubt for anyone with two functioning eyes.

this is literally true I reckon... i love Yaya, and he's absolutely one of our most talented players ever, but i swear most blues have their blue-tinged specs on and think Yaya was like that 13/14 season for us all of the time. He only really did that once IMO. One insane season, two excellent seasons and the rest just alright tbh. He just had a big habit of big moments, which sorta masked a lot of indifferent spells.

Yaya was excellent for 4 years and average or poor for 4 years.

Everything changed when his brother died.

Its a football forum,we all do....the difference is i dont give a fuck who says what,and i certainly don't dig stuff up to give someone a hard time....thats just a cunts trick and makes the forum an uninviting place.

As for Kev,him and Bernie don't work in our most effective 11,that is an opinion i am standing by :-)

I don't need to dig anything up because despite my age a fact which you used as something to attack me, my memory is still very good and I remember when people dismiss our players as though they are donkeys.

I agree with the forum would be much more inviting if people didn't write pure crap about players who are elite and the best Coach in the World thinks are worthy of a place at the Club.

Perhaps; and this is a little advice from an Old person, you did give a fuck about what others posted you would be much more thoughtful and insightful. You see I do care what others post perhaps mistakenly thought that COMMUNICATION was an important ingredient in making a forum successful.

I think the point is, you perhaps judge players too quickly and want them sold.

Even if you have your own reasons, you don't seem to think about why they were kept.

I remember arguing with many posters (you were 1 among many others) about how Gundogan and Rodri were perfect Pep players and would never be sold if it was up to him, but some posters could not be convinced because they were too set in there own way of thinking.

For example, when Gundogan had his top goal scoring season, people thought Gundogan had "all of a sudden" become a great player, it simply was not true, and is not how football development works.
