Diogo Jota & his brother Andre have died in a car crash

Very well put. I have to say when I read the news yesterday about this tragic event, I had a real sense of sadness, more than many other ‘celebrity’ deaths. RIP, young men.

Lovely song. I do have the album on cd but not played it many times so I would never have thought of this. Great choice.

Yeah, I love that Dream Weaver track too. I first heard I think when Gary supported Peter Frampton on his first major UK tour back in 1976 I think it was. Also, a friend had the album, which I do have now on cd.

    Rock Evolution – The History of Rock & Roll - 1984 - (page 198)

The playlist is growing slowly. Too slowly for me so I am going to start adding to the end of it, as promised. As mentioned in the write-up, Aerosmith released one of their very best albums in 1975 (the second best of the early years). That album was Toys in the Attic and was the one that...

    Rock Evolution – The History of Rock & Roll - 1984 - (page 198)

I struggled to keep it to 30. I will be adding to it, but not yet. I’ll put additional picks at the end so the faint hearted who can’t cope with all the heavy rock can stop before then. In between my bookends, I will curate the list so things may not be in the order they were posted. As per...

    Rock Evolution – The History of Rock & Roll - 1984 - (page 198)

Welcome to my 1975. What a time to be Alive! Saigon falls, the war is done. North and South become just one. West Ham’s glory, Munich’s roar. Leeds falls short in Paris war. Unemployment, inflation, Maggie preparing to run the nation. Springsteen, Born to Run. Juan Carlos king, Franco gone...

    Glastonbury 2025

Stopping going to see Rod in concert several years back cos it all got a bit Vegas but really enjoyed that. Bit cheesy at times but good Sunday afternoon fare. Also, Maggie Mae is my first musical love and they did a good version, cock up n all, but they should have brought Ronnie out to solo...
