Nunes has the first 2 in abundance, and is relatively skilful. Lewis has skill and composure. Akanji has grit and composure. If we can't get someone who checks every box, we are better off waiting. We also simply don't have space for another non-homegrown player, now Bernardo is staying.

I really don't think we're going to switch to a back 5 system. Take one of the centre-backs out for a midfielder (Nico, Bernardo, Foden, Gündo, even Bobb or Lewis) and then I can see it. Also not convinced Rodri is going to start, Pep will probably ease him back in.
