I tend to post on off topic or the Everton threads as they're usually topics I have a modicum of knowledge on. The Liverpool thread is usually a source of interest/ amusement as I guess the Rags/ United one is to most city fans. I can understand people thinking they would never go on an...
Remember reading the book at school in English Literature classes, like most it brings back memories of a mis-spent childhood. One of the best British films made
It's a fine balance between losing all rational thought and holding it all together because you have no other choice. I found a good mental health practitioner who doesn't believe in medicating ( though it can have a role to play). I loaded an app called Insight Timer which helps, my aim is to...
Which raises the argument of once he entered the crowded area what could he have done. Remained in his car and see how it develops, I doubt the crowd would have calmly waited. He'll argue he felt his life was at risk and he panicked
I doubt it was premeditated and possible just a series of events and consequences that ultimately led to tragedy. Lots of mitigating factors but essentially he chose to get in his car and drive. A decision that I hope he genuinely regrets but also has to be accountable for. There's lots of ifs...
The parade route starts at Queens Drive and skirts round the city until it reaches the seafront and city centre. Dale Street and Water Street would be some of the most populated areas. The city centre I would imagine would have been heavily policed but I guess they can't cover every area...

I struggled to get on the bus to work through Boscombe this morning. Thousands of them trying to get on the train from Bournemouth, Gatwick closed for most of the morning, Luton and Stansted at a standstill. All for de Redmen lar !!
Things that will happen during their parade today -
Firing rockets at the Liver building
Fighting with themselves and emergency service workers
Claims that no other club in football has had so many fans watching a homecoming
Sky Sports dedicating a whole day to it ad nauseum
The one where he launched the lad across the Nationwide was essential viewing on how to handle anti social behaviour. Though he could have been charged with assault he " handled" it well !!

It's estimated that around 30% of the prison population in the UK have either lower than average IQ's ( eg around 70) or have borderline learning difficulties. A lot have been in prison for a substantial time and would possibly not be incarcerated if they were trialled today
