With all the top teams playing poorly and being so inconsistent there's a very real danger the rags are going to do a Leicester.

Yes and the reason they're able to have such an organised and effective block is due to our walking football. I admit it is a bit of a chicken and egg situation.

Aston Villa (A) | PL | Post Match Thread

The opportunity for those "good positions" to arise is very rare thanks to our walking football. Other more direct and attack minded teams will have far more of those "good positions" so can afford to waste a number of them.

Aston Villa (A) | PL | Post Match Thread

We're still essentially playing the painfully slow and dreary, endless sideways passing style of play that's been so comprehensively sussed out by our opponents, this style of play definitely isn't conducive with providing wingers with the space they need to utilise their pace and trickery.

    City monitoring the forum

I find it pretty unlikely that they're scouring this site on the off-chance that they find someone offering a ticket who's username is identifiable, the hit rate would incredibly low. If anything I wouldn't be surprised if they've hacked the forum to get everyone's email address then they can...

Aston Villa (A) | PL | Post Match Thread

40 years ago I said whenever we win a corner we might as well just give the ball to their keeper and let him take a goal kick as we were so consistently useless at corners. It seems some things never change!

    It's Quiet the £250m return

People are saying our recent signings over the last couple of seasons just aren't good enough and it's hard to disagree but just where are the truly proven world class players that are available these days? The Great City teams of recent years had perhaps half the first eleven made up of often...

Will we win the league this season?

That suggests we're not one of the big boys and if we were to win it this season it would be a freak occurrence and a fluke. A more accurate take would be let's REALLY hope it's not the rags who do a Leicester.

    Facial recognition.

That's exactly my point. What's the point of it in its current form? All it will catch is the very thickest of low level scrotes wanted for minor offences who'll probably get no more than another asbo against them if they do caught via it. Yet its no doubt cost millions/billions to develop...

    Facial recognition.

So the whole system will have cost millions, probably billions, yet its only capable of capturing low level, braindead scrotes who are too stupid to avoid it even when it's as obvious as a marching band in the middle of the street. I'm not sure the cost v benefit really adds up.

    Facial recognition.

Seems like you're confusing facial recognition with fecal recognition?
  12. J

    Facial recognition.

So it's only being used to identify and track known/wanted criminals that feature on the police database. Surely by making such an overt and well publicised display of deploying it renders it completely useless in that case?

Exactly. It's how united manage to have a half decent record against all the top sides in the league, their park the bus hoofball and game raising attitude gets them results when playing against sides who actually have attacking intent. They struggle when they come up against all the other...

    16 | Rodri 2025/26

I'm starting to think we've seen the best of him and the injury has triggered the start of a slow decline exacerbated by further continuous niggling injuries. How very typical City, the first time in our history we have a Ballon D'or winner and we effectively lose him as the player he was when...

Plus the fact that the club, the players and the fans are even now despite a decade of abject failure still just as sneeringly arrogant, pompous and conceited as they were when they were successful.

Strange really isn't it, despite how hilariously shit they've been for so long now my actual hatred for them hasn't actually diminished or mellowed at all, I still despise them now just as much as I did when they were dominant and successful.

Fine, then please provide an example of an equally "farcical and ridiculous" decision that has gone against united.

And how much even worserer would they now be if it wasn't for all the corrupt VAR decisions they've benefitted from?
