    England v Serbia - Thu 13th Nov '25, 19:45 | Word Cup Qualifier

I wish I could say the same! But those days are sadly long gone!

    England v Serbia - Thu 13th Nov '25, 19:45 | Word Cup Qualifier

The media will whip themselves up into a frenzy when England beat Serbia. But most sensible match-going fans will not be sucked in.

To be fair I heard Celtic fans, not a small bunch either, singing the Lee Rigby song on Alan Turing way before the CL match. In case you don’t know he came from a City-supporting family in Middleton. I didn’t appreciate the songs about the Manchester IRA bomb either which is why, along with...

    England v Serbia - Thu 13th Nov '25, 19:45 | Word Cup Qualifier

Tuchel thinks Jordan Henderson, Loftus Cheek, and Rodgers should play ahead of Foden and Bellingham who are ripping up opponents in the CL. He’s a total moron. Beating Serbia and other Sunday league teams is not the benchmark.

Liverpool (H) | PL | Post Match Thread

They absolutely are. The Sports Team have produced distorted and twisted stories for years. Dan Roan still thinks City are state-owned. They run articles about convicted fraudster Rui Pinto calling him a whistleblower. They ignored the inconvenient result of his court case and didn’t run a...

Liverpool (H) | PL | Post Match Thread

The BBC article is contradicting Howard Webb’s comments backing the decision. We are now living in a parallel universe where truth has no place.

Robertson looked embarrassed during his TV interview. He knew it was his fault.

    Media discussion - 2025/26

Was Slott even in this country when the Wolves match happened? Is he the memory man? It was pushed by the media. A bit like he claimed to have seen our Swansea line-up before his own match while he was preparing his own team. Just lies fed to him by his PR people or someone on the broadcast...

    Media discussion - 2025/26

That’s what Howard Webb said. Robertson facilitated the goal by ducking. It’s nothing to do with VAR it would have been offside in any era of football. The media narrative is PR-driven to take the heat off Slott. A totally manufactured stunt. So many fans are ignorant about how this sort of...

It’s not even a close decision. The one at Wolves is totally different. Stones headed into the roof of the net. Bernardo was nowhere near it and moving away from the keeper. That’s what Robertson should have done. Slott has made a fool of himself.

    Media discussion - 2025/26

As soon as Robertson ducked he was active. If he had not ducked the ball would not have entered the net. It was a clear offside and would have been given every time. He interfered with play.

    Jamie Carragher

Carragher is totally ignorant about football. Liverpool weren’t even the biggest club in Merseyside before Shankly. United only became huge under Ferguson. Football is cyclic and always has been. In any case his club has been humiliated by both Manchester clubs over the last 25 years in terms of...

League Cup Quarter Final Draw | Brentford (H)

Think with those prices the crowd will be about 45,000 and that’s decent as Brentford won’t bring many. An early Xmas treat for lots of youngsters.

    Liverpool Thread | 2025/26

Robertson’s interview backed that up. He was pretty defensive and sheepish. Deep down he knows he fucked up. He had to get back onside quickly or make himself inactive by moving sideways. That’s what all defenders do all the time.

    Media discussion - 2025/26

I have always been sure that there is no conspiracy among UK referees. Over the years there have probably been a few bent decisions but mostly they are just incompetent and inconsistent. I think the media bias is mostly commercially driven ie negative City stories get a large audience because of...

    Media discussion - 2025/26

The Wolves one was very different. Firstly Bernie was moving away from the keeper and the ball was going into the top corner well over his head. Robertson was standing a yard from the keeper to deliberately block him. If he hadn't have ducked his head the ball would have struck him. Blatantly...

The BBC | Tim Davie resigns as Director General over Trump documentary edit (p 187)

Fair comment. But I have just found that I stopped listening or watching any BBC channels. The archive on YouTube is superb and shows how much we have lost. It used to be a bastion of quality but can’t compete with streaming services. The BBC must change its model to survive.

Total bias. It would not be applied for other clubs. Robertson ducked to allow the ball to go into the net while in an offside position. That would have been offside in any decade. Murphy and Rooney don’t know the rules.

    Referees' Performances | 2025/26

Someone should have asked Slott why Robertson was standing one yard away from the keeper in an offside position. He was there to block the keeper and was 100 pc interfering with play. The media coverage is absurd and could only happen with LFC and MUFC.
