Liverpool (H) | PL | Post Match Thread

Talksport and the bbc STILL banging on about the Dippers disallowed goal. It's Wednesday ffs, get over it. Pathetic
The BBC article is contradicting Howard Webb’s comments backing the decision. We are now living in a parallel universe where truth has no place.

As much as I hate Trump, and I'm not getting into a political debate... This last few weeks has proven that the apparently impartial BBC, are happy to run with mislead stories if it suits the organisations agenda. Who's to say they aren't doing the same with football.....
They absolutely are. The Sports Team have produced distorted and twisted stories for years. Dan Roan still thinks City are state-owned. They run articles about convicted fraudster Rui Pinto calling him a whistleblower. They ignored the inconvenient result of his court case and didn’t run a single line of the overwhelming prosecution evidence. Despicable and dishonest.

Has any one incident in a football match had so much coverage in the media as the Liverpool clear and obvious offside decision? Liverpool and their fans are the baddest of bad losers, always obsessed with a victim syndrome. They were humiliated, even if the goal had been awarded we would have beaten them comfortably
put it this way, if it happened to us there wouldn't be a breath of it in the media, it would be like it never happened.

Their local radio stations's news desk is STILL going on about this travesty THREE DAYS on.

As someone once sang

Let it go
Let it go
No I say let it go on & on so they can hurt some more tomorrow & the day after etc etc
Their next game is Forest on the 22nd so we should expect another 10 days of conspiracy, biased opinion & lies
Whatever they do the result ain’t changing they were lucky it wasn’t more than 3 in my opinion

What, the very same BBC that cheating, lying politicians, celebrities and every other fucker with a vested interest have told us is a paragon of truth and virtue and the only source of news to be trusted? That BBC?? As Victor Meldrew used to say, "I don't believe it!" And neither do we believe them.

More so in my opinion as we would have been fuelled by the sense of injustice it was given and ripped into them even more. The flip side to that of course is why didn't it do the same to the victims? It didn't because they were totally outfought and outthought.

Its funny with all the pundits (and Liverpool FC)
Pointing at the Wolves away game last season, and how City's goal stood.
Yet just a quick Google, and a video of it on Sky with Micah Richards and another ex-footballer (and other pundits at the time if I remember right) saying how it should be disallowed.
So how can the same pundits now say it's the same as some justification that Liverpool goal should of stood, when most thought it (City's goal) shouldn't of stood ?

If he had let the ball hit him rather than avoid it he could have claimed he did not obstruct the view of the balls original flight path.

Otherwise why duck out of the balls path other than to delay a ball sighting by our long named goalie?
If he stayed upright the ball would have hit him if he ducked the ball would go in the net. I don't know how much clearer "interfering with play" has to be. His movement in an offside position was literally the difference between a goal and no goal.

Who knows what Jimmy Saville and Rolf Harris would have thought about it

To be fair to the victims they have pulled off a blinder with this bullshit, because that's exactly what it is, bullshit. Although we have been given credit for outplaying them in many places in the media and online, this has been overshadowed by the ridiculous notion they were somehow cheated out of getting a result by it. They weren't. They know it and we know it but it feeds their victim mentality and is a crutch for them to lean on and ease their pain.

That these dipper wankers have the gaul and temerity to refer this to the authorities speaks volumes greater than the amount of water that flows out of the Misery into the sea. They continually let humanity down and its very sad.

Imo its time to go and give it to the rats next time we visit that shithole they call Glanfield.

100%, this was my arguement, a player is deemed offside if he interferes with play. zit wss going straight at him and would have hit him if he didnt duck. Therefore his action means he must interfere with play.
They go on about the Wolves goal but Berny was nowhere near the flight of the ball.
