We bought him as a centre back, but his versatility and our strength in that position (until this season) meant he had to bide his time. The new relationship with Viana might be the invigoration he needs - Txiki has delivered some astounding success in his role, but he clearly feels like he's done his bit now. Viana will hopefully provide the healthy challenge Pep needs. And maybe even find a left back somewhere.

He also refused to play Nasri and Toure in his first season because they were overweight and called them out for it. It's part of his requirements. Although looking at the fitness levels of the team this season I'd say something's gone wrong with the conditioning

Does he have all the ability in the world? His passing / crossing technique is off. If I compare him with Savinho there's a huge difference - Sav looks like he has the raw ingredients which could possibly turn into a top class player. I don't see Doku getting any better than he is now
