McAtee, one of Ederson/Ortega, I could see Nunes moving on. We'll get fees (perhaps small however) for Phillips, Walker, Doyle. I do think there may be a bigger name or two leaving i.e. Bernardo, Kovacic.

Both keepers will be off unless Ederson is up for staying, who is going to pay anything for Phillips with hs crazy contract?

Kovacic, Bernardo, Ederson, Nunes, 20m each?

It will be more what we are saving on wages, KDB, Walker, Bernardo, Ederson and Kovacic must be well over a million a month saved.

If Ake is back to full fitness he is a definite keep for me.

He also chips in with a few goals.

Definitely I think with Ake as long as he doesn’t play every 3 days he will be ok fitness wise. He was pushed to the max this season along with Akanji when both were playing through injury. Perhaps another reason why KDB hasn’t been fit enough to play many games.

He won't be sold, we have so many right footed CBs though in Dias, Khusanov, Stones, Akanji, Khusanov and Bah (loan).

Wouldn't be surprised if Walker is our only outgoing defender this summer with a fullback or two coming in. The midfield is in much higher need of an overhaul with most of our resources tending to that.

Im pretty sure all of our resources are going to only defenders, deep midfielders and goalies.

I disagree with those who are adamant we need Wirtz.

I like him, but he will coat like 150m, which can fund the entire goalies and fullbacks cost.

Cherki at like 30-40m is far more sensible, or nobody at all, we have great attacking talent here already.

We also have Doyle.

If Ake has to stay, he might have to forego his international career. It’s all well and good us wrapping him up in cotton wool and playing him once a week, but if he then goes off on national duties and plays two games in quick succession, yet another injury is almost inevitable.

Agree with most of that but I think it will be Arsenal we're up against.

The dippers' two best players are 33 and 34 this summer and could easily decline like KDB, Walker and Gundo have for us.

That is beside the point though. There’s a difference rotating because Pep wants to and rotating because he HAS to. Look at Mo Salah and Van Dijk getting the contract extension at their age while Kev didn’t. Salah and Van Dijk has to be some of the most durable players nowadays, they never get injured. Kev on the other hand has trouble staying fit even in years before, as much as I love Kev. Gundo also rarely gets injured for us even before he left us, no wonder he gets to stay.
