We bought him as a centre back, but his versatility and our strength in that position (until this season) meant he had to bide his time. He didn't do that by waiting around for an opportunity though, he went and played a vital role at left back. He's class and we're lucky to have him. Still only 23 too!

It's only two and half games with him and Dias together in the middle, but we haven't conceded a goal. And while the teams we've faced have been, to use the technical term, "dogshit," that hasn't prevented us conceding goals against pretty much everyone this season

Best young centre back in Europe, and should only be utilised there from this point on. Use O’Reilly, Bernardo or even Foden there before wasting Josko again.

Him and Stones would have been the dream pairing, but unfortunately JS’s input from now on is likely to be sporadic z

He’s too good to be fighting for a space IMO. He needs to be the mainstay in there and the other position up for grabs. If I had it my way then it’d be Gvardiol and Khusanov and only if they fuck up can anybody else get a look in.

Unless Jonny Boulders stays/is fit. Then he can play wherever the fuck he wants.

He was signed as one of the best young centre backs in the world and it’s took a massive injury crisis and a total off season for pep to put him in his best position and we can now see how good he is atm I’m like pep scratching my head at some of his decisions this season but hopefully along with giving o Reilly more game time and playing Nico g pep is now finally admitting he got it wrong and now we can move onto next season with pep at the helm .

I have been critical with his overall defending but fair fucks he is really improving in that aspect.

Hands up, I wanted him LB due to his attacking qualities and knack for goals.

And while I think he can still be a backup LB, his passing is also an asset as a LCB, and those are quite hard to find in football, we have an overabundance in right footed CBs.

He joined us as a CB, got moved to LB and basically played on the edge of the opponents box a lot of the time and became one of our best attacking threats at times..

Recently gets moved back to CB and looks great.

And he's only 23

I still believe in future he'll be regarded as one of the clubs great signings
