PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Classic journalist trick. We asked X if it was true he is a paedophile? X did not comment. The next level is to keep asking until X says “of course not” leading to the headline “X forced to deny claims that he is a paedophile”

This is our golden opportunity to confirm without doubt to all concerned that the club is not state owned. Bring it on.

Lucas Paqueta investigated by FA for alleged betting breaches

The elephant in the room. West Ham and the EFL allowed the City bidding process to proceed when both must have been aware of the pending investigation. Is this at all ethical? If not, how does this impact the 115 charges? Surely now all charges must be dropped immediately.

Saints are about to get all their money back via the sale of Lavia as Dortmund did by selling Sancho.

    FA Cup Final | United (N) - Sat 3rd June 15:00 | Pre-Match Thread

I see a repeat of the Etihad derby last year. We take an early lead, they equalise with their first attempt of the game but we dominate and go out clear winners. Come on City.

He’s not even a journalist. His ramblings don’t deserve to be included in a thread with the word “media” in it. No more relevant than Angry from Neasden

Dias and Grealish were on the bench v Chelsea , have not played since and Cancelo is no longer at the training ground. They can’t be injured

The world of football is bigger than Nick Harris’s domain and the powers that be at the Etihad I’m sure don’t trawl through Twitter looking for negative stories about us. The general view for the general fan is that we are now up there with the best ever . Young Toby coming back from his paper...

PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Exactly. We have the best players, best manager, best facilities, best lawyers etc. Is it such a stretch to believe that we don’t have the best salesmen selling our sponsorship?

PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Speaking of which we should perhaps all lobby our MPs to ask questions in the House about why Manchester City are being hounded constantly. 115 charges, widely reported yet none proven as yet. If City were a young black man in London this would (rightly) be considered a massive scandal.

I tend not think of referees as being corrupt as fans of all clubs usually say they are hard done by just as we do. But that night I truly believed, and still do,that Atwell was paid by a betting syndicate

This perfect fodder for the person who says they didn’t watch because they aren’t interested in City when in fact they didn’t watch because the team they follow to make themselves feel good about themselves aren’t doing too well. They can now go to the office and quote this line rather than call...

The thing about this word “cheating “. Nobody who was interested in football before 2010 even considered that a chairman putting money into his club was cheating. Indeed that was really his only job. Cheating was match fixing or bribing refs or taking performance enhancing drugs. Then FFP came...

So Nick. As you accurately report City fell foul of the rules and have been punished accordingly with a monetary penalty. Rather like a player serving a suspension after running up the yellow/red cards. Should reporters at United games point out Casemeiro’s card count?
