    Bluemoon Angling Thread

Will catch up on the thread a bit later as really enjoy reading everyone's updates. I had a day off today, as my boss wants us to take at least 50% of our holiday allocation before the end of June, so we can support the recovery in the second half. What should I do? Cooked breakfast.. Check. I...

Man of the Match Chelsea PL (A)

As much as he is brain dead with his behaviour during lock down he is a solid defender most of the time. Good tonight in a team of poor performances. 2nd amazing clearance off the line this season. Switching my phone off soon or will ostrasice myself from family members for life.

Hope your foot gets better soon That brings back memories. Used to fish the Ribble for chub about 30 years ago. Opposite bank to the tickled trout and about 3 miles upstream. Must have been on a Warrington or Lymm card. Hell of a walk with all your gear from where we parked. Once fell in when it...

I guess that's why we love our angling. 9 hours early doors today, same place and tactics as last Tuesday when I had 140lb. Just one small skimmer and a few Perch and roach today! Always next time.

Soooo jealous! Despite the weather conditions, sounds like an amazing experience. Can't wait to watch in October. A barbel on a float set up! That must have been quite an experience as well!!

No mate. Work commitments mean I don't get out as much as I would like. I was an Ireland fanatic for more than 35 years, but now its the river for bream in the summer, barbel in the winter and carp puddles thrown in every now and then.

    Bluemoon Angling Thread

Not long back from a 03. 30 start with my mate on our local river after 4 nights of pre-baiting. Had 70 bream between us. 80% bream and 20% good skimmers. A number of the bream in the 7/8lb range. Totaleestimated weight around 280lb. Really, really odd thing is we caught mainly on worm and a few...

George Floyd murder | Clashes between US police and protestors

Gavin and Stacey FFS! Watching that for a second time through the lock down was one of the key things that got me through. 'Chinese Alan' offensive, oh come on.

Everything crossed. It finally looks like it's on the demise.

    Holiday advice

As a lot of people, mixed emotions. Looking at the speed of demise of Covid 19, and the likes of New Zealand (no infections or deaths for more than 17 days), then I think a half price holiday abroad in say August might be worth a punt, especially if you are the type that really enjoys a holiday...

George Floyd murder | Clashes between US police and protestors

Totally understand all the protests across the country, and it's not as if there is a life threatening pandemic virus around. Actually, to be fair, it reminds me of similar protests when Lee Rigby was decapitated in broad daylight in central London, for serving in her majesty's army.

    Piers Morgan

Not sure that's entirely true in this case. For whatever reason the nation has had an obsession with the maddie case since it occurred in 2007. Rightly or wrongly, I'm not sure you can compare it to just another missing white young girl. Imo it was deliberate provocation.

    Piers Morgan

Intimated (no actually stated) that the coverage was such only because she was a white girl and it would not have been the same if she was black. There is enough unrest at the moment without such inciting statements. Never really had an opinion on him previously, but what a wanker.
