Anyone any advice for things to do in Cornwall?

Next time you go I can recommend you ditch the caravan and go to http://www.gwelanmor.com/ They have a great farm on site where you can get up close to loads of stuff but the bats and hand feeding foxes were an absolute joy. We've been there 3 times now and would happily go back.

Etihad Campus, Stadium and Collar Site Development Thread

Remember when they stated the desire to pull in 6,000,000 per annum to the area? 30 home games at 60,000 is 1.8m, concerts another 1m - they would be half way there!

It would be nice if people actually read what was written.

It's nice to see (via Worsley) that we should hear something about the North Stand expansion this year. The juggling of the external space also bodes well as they will surely have settled these things with the wider project, including the Collar Site, in mind. Even though there is quite a lump...

The plans have always been for incremental developments of the stadium and surrounding area. The CFA took up 2 years of development time and money and I suspect the Collar Site will come after the next stand at the Etihad, but I think they should snag the work they have done to date before they...

Its pretty frustrating but I think we're going to have to get used to that -I did hear a whisper that we would get news in the autumn at least for part of the stadium/collar site.

I've posted similar points in the past. ADUG simply wont go ahead unless the partner(s) in the leisure destination is world class. Until very recently there were no firm ideas on how to move forwards. I'm led to believe that there are now some conversations about getting things started so...

Yeah, more to come - I was hoping that the extension was linked to ASDA but as we all know, without any doubt at all, ASDA aint selling.?.?

There is lots of stuff in the planning stage, no doubt about that but it's dependant on the right partners and finance bing in place. I think the issue is gilt edged partners not yet being in place. I'm lucky enough to have seen the earlier iterations of the whole campus and even then it was...

I hope you're staying where we have stayed a few times, http://www.gwelanmor.com/ as its a brilliant site. We all loved http://www.gwelanmor.com/facilities/wildlife especially hand feeding foxes and handling birds of prey, awesome. If you've got kids we recommend popping down the coast to...

    Ali Brownlee

I met him briefly on a couple of occasions and he came across as a nice, genuine guy. The reason I met him was one of the reasons he is such a local legend, it was at grass roots footy events for kids. He really did give up his own time helping out wherever he could. He put his time and money...
