Ugh, the politics of putting an 'x' on the end of texts - it does my head in! Weirdly though, it's always the guys I've been involved with who moan about lack of 'x's on the end of messages... I mean, does it really matter? Sometimes I put one, sometimes I put three - who cares? :P But...

If it's mainly the smell you're concerned with, go to a supermarket and get some 1001 Carpet Freshener - it's a foam that you spray on the carpet, and it soaks in... no need to clean out, or vacuum up. Just leave it in and the carpet smells lovely :)
