As much as labour were unelectable last time, the tories have done so much damage that the hurt is real and will endure. There's so much bad feeling to last this time.

I voted remain, I just can understand why a trade relationship turned political alignment doesn't sit well with the older generation.

These are laws we can't change without prior agreement with the EU. This slows down change when it's needed.
