I get it once in a while, I hate it because it wakes me up right when I feel I'm about to drift to sleep. It almost feels like a seizure, although I've never had a seizure so wouldn't know really how one feels.

How about a mandatory one match ban for any player judged to have dived, whether the ref saw it or not. You'd have to have some sort of panel to review the film from each match and issue the bans though. Similar to what the NFL does with fines for incidents that their officals miss during the game.
