Should we be looking at new kit deal?- new update pg34 Chelsea NIKE DEAL

The other thing I forgot to mention a couple of pages back is that the big firms all want to get their poster-boy players signed up on a "triple" deal. From the firms point of view, having a top player wearing their boots, wearing their club shirt and also national shirt is the holy trinity -...

Should we be looking at new kit deal?- new update pg34 Chelsea NIKE DEAL

There are two very different angles to this. The first, ours, is that we are major player in the "Biggest and Best League in the World" and are Semi-Finalist in the CL and so deserve the big money contracts that the rest of our peers are getting. The other angle (Nike's), is all about sales. We...

is there a date for the new badge launch?

.. and I'll put money on the new kit being launched about 5 minutes after Pep's first Press Conference. Well, it should if our Marketing Department have got anything about them. New Manager, New Badge, New Kit all on the same day.

How do I find what my seat number is?

The ticket office usually sends out a text a few hours before kick off with all of the seat and gate info (they have done every round thus far anyway).

Tickets home - Real Madrid - Sold out

Spot on. On occasions like this, people will always look at how it affects them and then form a judgement. Those on the Cup Scheme aren't bothered, those not on the scheme are moaning - there's no middle ground. Everybody knows the deal when you sign up for the scheme, you get your tickets...

Stephen Ireland used to wear it a lot. Google some of the images from the Mark Hughes days.

Ticket prices for 2nd leg v PSG.

We need to send a message to the club, otherwise this will just become normal. If (IF!) we get through, the Semi tickets will be £75/£80!! Could we all cancel the direct debits with our banks? The club would shit themselves on Tuesday when the Cup Scheme subscribers - who they have already...

Liverpool fans in the City end

We were in 520 and there were some serious states on the concourse before the game - the mass majority were absolutely steaming. The fracas all seemed to relate to the old: "Sit down D*ckhead" "Shut up D*ckhead" "Who are you telling to shut up" etc etc Sad really. Top day out though!

Food & Service Issues 2014/15 (merged)

We've given up drinking in the ground these days, which is a shame. The service is painfully slow which means you have to down a flat pint in 3-4 minutes. They should sack the pumps off and just sell cans/plastic bottles or do what they do in Germany with the pre-paid cards.

    Salary

However you decide to play this, do not leave for at least 6 months - Your CV will look shite if you've moved from your first Post-Grad job within a year. Also remember that you've probably got the best part of 35 years to earn a load of cash.

    Salary

Whilst I'm no HR Guru, I've worked for a number of large firms over the years. You're probably best taking it on the chin for the time being - Use this as a learning curve. Whenever you have an appraisal or meeting that involves discussions relating to any sort of contractual change, always...

    Glastonbury 2014

I've been to four in the last decade, it's the best weekend of the year by a mile. Those that say its "too big, too commercial yada yada" are entitled to their opinion but I bet they've never been (or have been years ago and want to appear "cool" by knocking the modern day Festival). Giving it...

    CL Ticket availability

Whilst I appreciate the financial reasons why people are not going tonight, God help us if we get through to the later rounds and the ticket prices go up £8-£10 a round!

Etihad Campus, Stadium Development and Collar Site

Just a point on my earlier post regarding the Pillars, I got this snippet from a contact at BAM, not one of the Architects. I'll do some digging when I next see him and report back. Re:Wifi, I'm told that 02 were having issues servicing East Manchester for their new 4G network. The answer is to...

Etihad Campus, Stadium Development and Collar Site

Through work, I have a lot of contacts in the Construction Industry and meet the odd Architect from time to time. I'm not sure if this has been covered in the previous 400+ pages but when chatting to a guy from BAM yesterday, he tells me that the club's owners have gone to great lengths to "get...

    Martin Lewis

Fair play to him, his site is useful and a decent reference. That said, he's probably lost a lot of credibility by selling up. There's something quite patronising about a multi-millionaire telling us mere mortals how to save the odd pound here and there. Not sure if he goes to the games? Based...

    Worst Ever United Away Support

I was told that a lot of the usual away day Rags couldn't get hold of tickets. The pricing meant that a lot went to wealthy corporates - maybe just an excuse because they were diabolical!
