    Catastrophic transfers are killing us.

There does seem to have been a change in our transfer strategy the past few windows, and I don't understand why. We built so much success upon signing players from teams just below us in the league (like Walker, Nasri, Barry, Sterling), from top teams that were unhappy for some reason (Yaya...

The Top Four Race 2024-25 (Poll added)

The top two performing leagues in europe by coefficient get an extra spot and it is looking like England will get one

    82 | Rico Lewis - 2024/25

I wasn't Zinchenkos biggest fan but I think he was a lot better than Lewis. Had some moments where he really stood out, like when he came on and helped us score 3 in the second half to beat villa and win the league. Plus he was always played out of position for us.

    Callum Doyle

I don't think we can recall without Norwich also agreeing, I think that is the rule with season long loans. They could agree but would want money or a replacement, and we haven't got one to send. He plays every game as well so you can see why they would be reluctant.

    Pep Guardiola - 2024/25

But I don't think most people are asking for Pep to be sacked, I haven't seen any. People are questioning why the same players and the same tactics are used every game when we are seeing no improvement in results or performance. Or why he keeps players in the squad to give them 2 whole minutes...

Injuries 2024/25 | Dias ruled out for a month

I get that he plays people in different positions, but they generally can play those positions. Like Gundogan played up front for a season and did well, but he can't play this dm role at all but still gets picked every game. Lewis really seems to be struggling in any defensive position as he is...

Injuries 2024/25 | Dias ruled out for a month

I mean an increase in games as in the nation's league replacing friendlies and an expanded euros, with a condensed time to play games as the winter world cup and covid cut rest periods. I think other clubs have had injury issues as well, but have bigger squads and will use youngsters which we...

Injuries 2024/25 | Dias ruled out for a month

I would argue the increase in games has had an accumulation effect on players though, so if there was a break in the last few years things wouldn't be so bad. Since covid and the winter world cup, we've had the nation's league replace friendlies and we've got expanded champions league and now a...

It's Quiet 18 - Wanna ring the bell?

Often people on here argue from the position of the club has made a certain decision, so they try justify that decision without looking at other teams. I've been told nobody will be a backup striker, but then get no answer when I ask why villa for example have a backup striker. With Rodri...

It's Quiet 18 - Wanna ring the bell?

So we are up to four players now, after it was two initially when we were in this losing streak, then three. Wonder how many it will be if we keep up this form before the window opens.

    Aston Villa (A) - Sat 21st Dec, 12:30 | PL | Pre-Match Thread

What is there to be positive about with the way we have been playing? And I don't know what mindset has to do with it, we can write anything on here, what matters is we keep putting out the same team and playing the same way which ends with the same result

    87 | James McAtee - 2024/25

While Pep does know more than us, he also does get stuff wrong and is known to have biases. He decided Palmer wasn't good enough, who then goes to Chelsea and becomes the best player in the league, but thought Nunes was a good buy. The clamouring for the younger players has increased because we...

United (H) | PL | Post Match Thread

While it is tragic that a city fan (might have, as I've not heard it confirmed) lost their life, I don't understand your logic? Millions of people die each day, therefore nobody can criticise anything?

    27 | Matheus Nunes - 2024/25

I'd have rather kept Doyle tbh

    27 | Matheus Nunes - 2024/25

Who is going to want him, and pay any transfer fee or his wages? He will probably go on loan with us paying most of his wages, wouldn't get in most teams in the league.

It's Quiet 18 - Wanna ring the bell?

I've seen people on here saying that once some of our injured players are back and we make one or two signings in January, we should focus on the champions league as we have a decent chance of winning. Like how? Have they not seen us play lately?

    27 | Matheus Nunes - 2024/25

And we will continue to do so. I fail to see how any of the younger players can be worse than those playing, but yet we will never see them. They can't be trusted as they might make mistakes, as opposed to our senior players who as seen today can be trusted.

    31 | Ederson - 2024/25

Pens are in favour of the taker but you would still expect a keeper to save some, or at least get close to one.

It's Quiet 18 - Wanna ring the bell?

We could use the academy, loans and bosmans to fill out the squad to save some money for the rebuild.

    Happy Clappers

I find it strange how many people come to a forum and seem upset if people have a different opinion. I saw people in the Cole Palmer thread wanting it closed because they didn't like people talking about him, and I don't get why people just don't go in the thread? I have no interest in women's...
