His kicking was terrible all game, he didn't look his usual calm self and kept punting balls first time straight back to them. Onana was far better with the ball.

I am honestly surprised Pep didnt sub him for the penalty, it would go from 100% chance of a goal to the usual ~80% with Ortega in net.
 
A vital interception in the second half with a couple of decent stop, and if it wasn't for Nunes indvidual mistake it would have contributed to a decent win. He still gets the nod for this season.

At fault for both goals. Hadn’t made a penalty save in 3.5 years in the PL.

I watched Villa yesterday and their bellend of a keeper made more saves you wouldn’t expect in ten minutes than Ederson has done in 18 months. Get fucking rid. His hearts not in it. He’s been protected for years by a dominant team, he’s not who we need when he actually needs to do his fucking job.

Came in no mans lands on their 2nd goal. No hope he ever makes a pen save.

Should have let him leave to Saudi when he wanted to go.
 
I tell you what. He could double up as a hologram circus act when he gets his wish and does one to Saudi.

Any player actively speaking to other clubs should be allowed to go. And if they don’t. Then they shouldn’t be first choice when there’s a more than (better?) capable player to fill their boots.

Funny how he was making saves to keep us in games and stopping us from being battered, this season

pens are in favour of the taker and not the keepers

you can just say you dont rate him rather than making stuff up

Pens are in favour of the taker but you would still expect a keeper to save some, or at least get close to one.
 
Another mistimed run and fooled by Amas.

One point often mentioned here is definitely wrong:

we don't need Eddie as a 'sweeper' keeper for our build up or quick counters per precise long balls,
as I didn't see a single ball by Eddie proving that as an advantage over Ortega.

You can love him all you want for the titles we have won,
I like to decide on present performances.

Protecting our past season's heroes is a general problem of our decision makers
and now we can't handle too many burning areas anymore.
