    Matthijs de Ligt

Is de Ligt lightyears-ahead superior to our Tosin?

    Thanks Yaya

Yaya, what a legend of a player. He is the benchmark, the gold standard, when it comes to all-around mifielders in the prem. There were regrettable episodes in his city career (e.g. cakegate), but his contribution outweighs them. YA YA YAAAAAAAA YA TOUREEEEEEE

    Gabriel Jesus - 2017/18 performances

Not the best game. He struggled to control the square passes and fumbles them, as if his first touch has left him tonight. It's important to get into good positions but it's worthless when opportunities are wasted.

    Brahim Diaz - 2017/18 Performances

He's getting in the right positions. A few inches more to his height and he'd be first-team ready. His technique is impeccable but he should be more self-confident, like Sancho is showing for Dortmund this year.

    Danilo - 2017/18 performances

Never thought he had a mean free kick in him, good to know he is capable of much more. He did well tonight

    CL Quarter Final Draw - Liverpool A Apr 4th - H Apr 10th

I may be in the minority that this is probably the best draw for City. Liverpool are a familiar adversary, City play them away first, and there's no pressure in the league anymore. City only need to score an away goal(s) and the pressure is on Liverpool.

    Vincent Kompany - 2017/18 performances

I see people on social media talking shit about Vinny's "over the top" celebration. Fuck the haters. He deserved to celebrate the way like he did, he has endured so much. Haven't seen him play so imperiously in a long time So delighted of his performance, 11/10

    Ilkay Gundogan - 2017/18 performances

We might see Yaya getting recalled while Dinho's out. Gundogan doesn't give as much defensive steel as Dinho.

    Premier League Games 24/25 Feb

Fought Barca tooth and nail but capitulate to united. Fucking hell Chelsea.

League Cup Final - Post Match Thread

A fit Vinny is truly the best CB in the league. He fights and pushes on after every injury setback, what a warrior. You can see how much his goal means for him, so I'm very happy for el capitan! Sane was on another level today, I should mention. His football brain is becoming bigger. Add set...

    Fernandinho - 2017/18 Performances

He'll always be unappreciated by fans of other teams but they just don't get it, he's central to everything. A mad genius and a real warrior. I feel for Dinho, it must be the same feeling Barca fans feel for Busquets.

    Leroy Sane - 2017/18 performances

Never stopped fighting, he surely worked his socks off. Not the best game but his perseverance is admirable. I think his frustration might have gotten into his head as the game went on. He will have better days

    Chelsea(A) - Post Match Thread

City was once at the receiving end of Pep's relentless football at Bayern. To be so utterly dominated at the Etihad, with the class players like Silva and Toure, is almost unreal. So intelligent and confident, it felt depressing at the time. I'm just glad it's City that's doing it now. Everyone...

    Benjamin Mendy - 2017/2018 Performances

It's like watching 2012 Yaya rampaging down the wing. Athleticism, smarts, anticipation, he's got it. Hope he never gets injured, Sane is terrible at LB. Back in 2010 other fans ridiculed the 25m City paid for Yaya, who was just a "mere" DM. City are getting the same treatment for spending so...

Champions League Draw (Shakhtar, Napoli, Feyenoord)

Napoli is the proverbial banana peel but it's not the same as the Cavani, Levazzi and Prime Hamsik Napoli. That team was so so good, they took City to a football clinic, and were so unlucky to lose to Chelsea in the KO round. I hope good fortune favors City this time. Not easy but a great...

    Eliaquim Mangala - 2017/18 performances

Hasn't got the greatest of pace but his first touch is decent. I wouldn't mind seeing him in the squad, at least for the time being.

    Bernardo Silva

    Looks like it's official now

    Sunderland (a) Pre-Match Thread

What are the odds of Kelechi starting this game? Can't see Aguero starting against BOTH sunderland and stoke. A part of me wants Kelechi to pick up where he left off, he looks like a man reborn

    Kelechi Iheanacho - 2016/17 Performances

No doubt he's a fox in the box BUT he needs to improve his game overall. IMO he does not link quite well during build ups, and it makes the play more predictable. A few more months polishing his dribbling and tactical acumen and he'll be a dangerous player.

So why suddenly do they talk about Aguero leaving?

The transfer deadline has come and gone, it's only natural that some journos will try to make a mountain out of a molehill about other 'noteworthy' things. I personally don't pay the 'rumours' any mind, , as far as I'm concerned, it's just the football media exaggerating anything and everything.
