It's Quiet 32 - enter at own risk

Probably got nervous that he might actually end up at United at this rate.

    Riyad Mahrez

Mahrez in Pep's system would be ace, one of his big problems at Leicester is that he receives the ball very deep and has to do so much to get into a good position, under Pep he'd get so many 1v1s with fullbacks and that's where he's at his absolute best.

    Sergio Aguero - 2017/18 performances

If he's unhappy I don't think it's just that he was subbed off against Spurs, but it's combination of that and him not playing even a minute of the derby. Guys like Aguero have to play the biggest matches, otherwise you hurt their confidence and ego, it's like this with a lot of South American...

    Alexis Sanchez

Arsenal face parked busses all the time, or at least they did until recently where everything's gone tits up for them, and he's proven that he's great at breaking them down with well timed through balls to overlapping fullbacks and generally just being active in the box. The reason he isn't at...

    Inigo Martinez

With Mangala it's more of a problem with how poorly he fits into the style of play, he'd make for suitable cover for other clubs, but not a Pep team. He's in the same category as Hart, Iheanacho and Fernando in that regard, not a bad player but just a mismatch.

    Inigo Martinez

Ideally a centerback signing would have both of those attributes, no use in getting someone who only has one of those.

    Alexis Sanchez

Definitely Sanchez for me too, more goals from the wings and the right mentality. Plus, he's cheaper and the meltdown would be amazing.

    Alexis Sanchez

PSG aren't even in a situation where they can allow themselves to do that, imo their biggest priorities should be getting a new goalkeeper, leftback and defensive midfielder, yet they're blowing their entire budget on flashy forwards instead. Personally I'm happy we're not taking that kind of...

    Danilo

From what I've read Real Madrid fans actually think he's better on the left than on the right, not sure how that works for a right-footed player but sometimes it does (Darmian and De Sciglio being other examples). Not sure if he can play in a back 3 though, doesn't seem like that type of player.

    Benjamin Mendy

Do we have any idea about his injury, or was it just an excuse for Monaco not to bring him on tour?

    Aleksandar Kolarov

I think it's just Pep's way of saying he doesn't want to keep a player who wants to leave which is what managers typically say in this situation, he does have a tendency to fumble in his words and in this case it ended up sounding like he took it personally.

    Alexis Sanchez

Can't imagine Pep is too happy if we miss out on the priority signing, he'd have been an absolute key figure for us. Really not sure what alternatives there are, some are suggesting Aubameyang but according to Dortmund's CEO he's no longer on the market, and even then he's far from as effective...

    Ederson Moraes - 2017/18 performances

It's to be expected that he will make some mistakes when the season starts, he's the type of keeper who commits 100% and at his age it's bound to go wrong once in a while. Unlike Bravo he's got age on his side though, so hopefully people will be patient with him.

    It's Quiet - a new dawn

West Ham are paying £25m for Arnautovic, puts it into perspective how big a bargain Jesus was.
  15. M

    Alexis Sanchez

Man, if Sanchez goes to PSG this transfer window will have gone south pretty quickly. No good alternatives available out there.

    Aleksandar Kolarov

Danilo was already a scapegoat at Real Madrid, he'll fit right in.

    Benjamin Mendy

Bakayoko was generally accepted as being the weakest link out of Monaco's great squad, it was either him, Jemerson or Sidibe at least. Mendy was one of the players who showed a lot of individual talent, others like the ones I mentioned before benefitted a lot from a very good system. His injury...

    Danilo

Maybe go back in for him in January? I know Atlético probably wouldn't be too happy about that (which is important as we like to keep good relationships), but it'd be a good move imo for when the games really begin to pile up, even if he'll be cup tied for CL.

    Benjamin Mendy

The theories that he'll take Alves' place for some kind of USA announcement thing make sense if this is the case.

    I love this guy.
