    52 | Oscar Bobb - 2025/26

Yep. Pretty much always makes the right decision.

    10 | Rayan Cherki - 2025/26

^ also came on at a time he has to force things and there’s little movement elsewhere due to tiredness. So those kind of things are more likely to happen. But the main thing is - to have his quality and not play any of the opening 90 minutes is unacceptable really. Eyewateringly bad game...

Match Thread | Manchester City v. Al Hilal (CWC) 01/07/25

His lack of minutes - whether we are playing well, or shit like here - is concerning. You buy a locksmith for these tight defences and refuse to use it?

Reijnders as DM with Gundo and Bernardo 8s… I’m not sure why Pep seemingly never learns.

Match Thread | Manchester City v. Al Hilal (CWC) 01/07/25

Too many poor decisions from Doku atm. Opting to dribble and lose the ball when there’s better, simpler options available. Together with the lack of legs and penetration from the Gundo/Bernardo axis we’ve lost momentum a bit.

Lo and behold with younger legs we seem to be much quicker to loose balls, winning most of them.

Captain for next season | Bernardo confirmed (pg11)

really? More than any other player he displays leadership on the pitch. Whenever we are in a sticky situation it’s him demanding the ball and organising the team.

City 2nd behind United on most followed English teams online

Yep. City shirts are much more common in London than United shirts. Never thought I’d see the day.

    The Squad planning thread

Disagree. Reijnders scored 15 last season. Air Nouri 5. Cherki 12. Foden will improve. Haaland scored 30 despite 2 months out and largely poor service. Rodri is good for 8-10. There’s Bobb who has goals in him.

    Rayan Cherki

    I’m moved.

    31 | Ederson - 2024/25

His passing ability and confidence still blows my mind. Them low, drilled, flat balls he plays through the smallest of gaps to break lines when the recipient is out of shot and the margin for error low - my favourite thing about watching city.

    5 | John Stones - 2024/25

He’s looking majestic. Long may his body last

    26 | Savinho - 2024/25

Thought he was absolutely superb in terms of menace. Stepped up a level in this game and I for one was excited - not sure what game some others were watching. Yes he could have worked harder in the 90 odd minute but was clearly tired given how much he put in. Phil let’s transition after...

    10 | Jack Grealish - 2024/25

Not sure what game you were watching mate. He was miles better than his usual performance.

    47 | Phil Foden - 2023/24

Sensational tonight. Felt like another step up in maturity & the confidence that he is that guy now.

    25 | Manuel Akanji - 2023/24

Yep, it’s between Rodri Foden and Akanji. What a player he’s been this season

    25 | Manuel Akanji - 2023/24

Most important player in the back line this season. I can’t believe how good he is for the price we got him. Rock solid

    24 | Joško Gvardiol - 2023/24

Thought he was really good. Will be a beast for us next year.

    Omar Berrada to the rags

Surely there has to be a non compete in his contract? This is absolutely insane.

    16 | Rodri - 2023/24

The way he is able to add new dimensions to his game each season is crazy. He was basically prime Yaya last night.
