Because Anderlecht thinks they can get better. And Vinny wants to go back to manchester with his family. Sad to see how this great man, who worked his ass of the last 3 years , gets treated.

That's not known, if I have to guess, it has something to do with the strength of the team next year. A player he wants? A budget he wants? But the problems between him and some other peoples started in November already, when the results were lacking.

Vinny wanted to stay. But the last year, some peoples didn't show a lot of respect for the man who is a huge factor in Anderlecht coming back to the top. He was willing to stay with one condition. The club didn't want to give the condition, and so the story was over. :(

Almost every fan is devistated. Kompany was made in Anderlecht, and loved in Anderlecht. He is as popular in Anderlecht, as he is in Manchester.
