    Champions League Draw - 29th August '24 | Opponents (pg69) | Fixtures (pg128)

8 games instead of 6 in the group stage simply means more opportunity for the biggest teams to qualify. They even then get a pre last 16 knock out round to qualify if they finish im the top 2/3rds. There will be fewer shock group stage drop outs than ever before. Just money making bollocks once...

Kova breezing past his 220 million pound Chelsea midfield replacements. Beautiful.

Alvarez done deal - £82m to Atletico

Doesn't particularly fit our formation so I'm not too fussed if he goes. Think there are teams out there that will suit him better and we can look to fund a proper back up number 9, or a more technical number 10 / attacking mid

    England v Slovakia - Sun 30th June, 17:00 | Euro 2024 Round of 16

So true. My Liverpool supporting mate gave Walker and Stones a 3/10 for the last game. They were the least of our problems and easily our better performers.

VAR Discussion Thread - 2023/24 | PL clubs to vote on whether to scrap VAR (pg413)

Keep VAR but no slo-mo replays. Someone checks a replay on all goals for glaring offsides at full speed. Could the forward be gaining a slight advantage with his shoulder? Who cares, that's onside. Humans drawing lines on a best fit frame is crap fir everyone involved. Penalties shouts...

Agree we might as well risk a loss and go all out in the last 20 mins. Cant rely on a 6+ nil win last game

We've been poor but still been the better team and had the best chances. If Kev and Bernardo can step a gear up we will win

Mccoist if you don't know if akanji gets a touch it isn't a clear and obvious error and var will not intervene. It's not hard.

Could easily make that level depending on who's drawing the lines. Fake technology that people believe is scientific

Real Madrid post match post mortem

We played really well in parts. Can't win everything but feels gutting given the dominance we had over them for most of the game. Have to regroup now we are still on for a double. Proud of this team.
