£10 F&B Credit - All Season Ticket Holders

I was trying to avoid you coming back with that, which is why i phrased my last post as I did

I would spend it, but I have to know I have it first. What's the point of eating before I leave home if I know I'm going to eat at the stadium
We're not all fat greedy cunts y'know (not saying you are BTW)
My guess is that your credit is on your card and your email has gone astray. It sounds like you just want to use the £10 up but don’t normally buy from the concession stands and don’t plan on doing so in the future, which is fine. The club have probably done this credit to try and get those people who haven’t been using the stands to try it, but it’s not mandatory to use it if you don’t want or need anything. Have you tried ringing the club to ask if your credit is there? That seems to be your only option.

I’m not sure you can see anything on your card, well not on iphone anyway. You might be able to check at one of the concourse bars. The email I got said every seasoncard holder on L1.

When I used mine the server said I could only use it once which I didn’t understand as I was buying three pints so over a tenner anyway. Not sure if people were thinking they could get a £10 credit every visit! But I also wondered if she meant that, for instance, you bought one pint for £5.40 that the £4.60 balance was lost forever like some giftcards do.
I’ve assumed that I’ve still got a free Pint left -as my Forest freebie was supposed to be £4.72. Odd thing is I was the only SC Holder near me who got this freebie v Forest it seemed -so they must be phasing it in

The cynical me thinks the club wants people to use the concessions on the assumption they have the voucher and if they haven't, they will still purchase what they've ordered rather than walking away

I always get a Beer anyway -so it will be interesting to see if I get another freebie at the Derby -that’s if I get to the server as we all know how much busier the Bars are against the Scum

Unless I’ve skipped some posts, I’ve not seen a single person in 93:20 or on level 1 say they’ve tried for the discount and it’s not been on their card. So why would anyone in those areas assume they haven’t got it, until they’ve tried?

We all know emails are hit and miss on which ones you receive.

If the club were being cynical, they just wouldn’t have offered it. No one was expecting it.

Read Ribble's post tgat i quoted that he's the only person in his immediate area that has received the voucher

Here’s the text from the email I received…

Good news! We are delighted to be able to offer all Season Ticket Members a complimentary £10 Food & Beverage credit to use at the Etihad Stadium.

You do not need to do anything to be eligible for this credit, it’s simply a thank you from us for your loud and loyal support.

The roll-out of this credit follows a successful trial at the recent Tottenham Hotspur match with Season Ticket Members located in 93:20.

To best manage the operational roll-out of this credit, we are gifting it to Season Ticket Members in sections. Starting with the Nottingham Forest fixture tomorrow, all Season Ticket Members in Level One of the Etihad Stadium will be able to access their credit.

Season Ticket Members located elsewhere in the Etihad Stadium will receive their credit soon.

We have already added the credit to your NFC Mobile Season Ticket or Physical Season Ticket, to be redeemed at Food & Beverage kiosks around the stadium. You simply need to scan your Season Ticket at any Food & Beverage kiosks to receive the credit. Please see more information below.

You will be able to redeem this at any men’s home match at the Etihad Stadium until the end of February 2025, starting with the Nottingham Forest match on Wednesday 4th December. Alongside the credit, Season Ticket Members will continue to receive a 10% discount for all Food & Beverage transactions.

And to confirm, if you don’t use all the £10 in one transaction the balance is still available for use until the end of February.

How to use your £10 Food and Beverage credit
  1. Order food and drink at any Food & Beverage kiosk
  2. Scan your NFC Mobile Season Ticket, or Physical Season Ticket, at the dedicated scanner
  3. £10 (or the total value of the transaction, whichever is less)* will be discounted off the total balance
  4. Pay any difference as normal
*Any unused credit will remain on your account for future use, until the end of February 2025.

What if there are any issues with my order or my credit doesn’t work?

Yes, see above, your credit is safe.

I still haven’t had this email, but I get millions of texts from city banging on about car parking and tickets going onsale that I can’t unsubscribe from, which is a breach of GDPR laws.
