I doubt it's Sterling either. His remarks were part of an illustration of how ridiculous complaints that City should bring on/in English players and Pellers was pointing out that you have to pay a great deal more that they are worth. There seems little point saying Sterling will cost £100m if you've just bid half that! Pogba? Well his agent says he'll cost half as much again and there are alreadt clubs who'll meet the higher price. Maybe, maybe not. Pellers never let's anything out of the bag, so we just don't know - if it isn't Txiki that decides! Only Tolmie can tell....

Got to be Bale! He's unsettled in Madrid, crowd seem to have turned against him over there. Pretty sure we'd have to go higher than £50m, but as a starting bid it gets you into negotiations. Sheikh Mansour owns a stake in Real as well doesn't he? I bet we could get the superb Welsh winger for a lot less than Madrid paid for him and he's exactly what we need.
