I'm with DD & St. Helens Blue on this.

City is now being run by some serious professional business people now. They are out to maximise revenue in all areas of their business. The owners are not a charity for fans. They are in it to be successful, which means profit, growth & brand exposure. Unfortunately this impacts everday fans.

We have to expect this. Sport especially football is an obcession for fans. Some peoples whole life revolves around football. As long as that exists the clubs will continue to make money.

How many of us actualy complain about the prices of fags and booze. We still pay for it though. As a complaint I paid £7.50 for a pint in London last night.
I have not smoked for 14 months and the money saved has covered mine and my childrens season tickets.

I'll carry on going to City while I can afford it. When I can't I will happily give up. Football is about number 7 in my list of priorities in life. I'm just happy that I have been able to see some success at a club I have supported for 38 years.

well it's number 1 for a lot of us and this is not on manchester city charging these prices. end of. it's a disgrace

End of what?

I hate to say it mate, but you do not have a God-given right to watch Manchester City.

Just out of interest, for those with a season ticket who think the price is too high, if you are unable to attend a game, would you sell your ticket on the ticket exchange for around the amount you paid, the advertised price of a ticket to Blue Members or more than the advertised price?

100% would sell mine for what i paid. would no way rip a fellow blue off.

To be fair, the games we can't go to I give my tickets to a mate. don't ask for any cash in return, juts good to see he and his kids get the pleasure to go and watch a game. Did the same for the QPR game as we had to be away.

To be fair - If I put my business hat on - it's not a disgrace. We are paying for a high value product.

Don't want to be critical or anything, there is more to life than our great football club. Just saying

Same as you, I've never asked for cash for my season ticket in my life. I've paid, I can't attend, just glad someone else can.

The seat exchange thing won't change anything for me, but if noone I know wants my ticket I'd put it on there to get the cash back.

So your saying if a seasoncard holder flogs a match for just £30-£35 he is ripping someone off?

for what it's worth, Saints fans are up in arms about the ticket prices, many refusing to even contemplate going.
Don't blame them

absolutely, I agree with them. I remember the first time a ticket was more than £50, I believe it was Chelsea a number fo years ago and a lot of us refused to go.

What price are they being asked to pay?
